DESCRIPTION
This mod adds the fearsome ninja Scorpion from the Mortal Kombat franchise into the game as a companion, created according to my personal taste and needs of gameplay.
Scorpion - The Source:
"Hanzo Hasashi was once a member of the Japanese Shiray Ryu ninja clan. Given the name Scorpion for his deadly fighting skill, his life was blessed with glorious kombat in the name of his Grand Master. But when he, his family and his clan were brutally exterminated by Sub-Zero and the Lin Kuei, Scorpion's existence became eternal torment. Resurrected by the malevolent necromancer Quan Chi, he entered the Mortal Kombat tournament to slay Sub-Zero and avenge the murders of his kin." (Mortal Kombat, 2011)
LOCATION
You will find him spending his time at the Arena Bloodworks, Imperial City Arena District.
DETAILS
-A pure warrior that rellies solely in his katana.
-The weapon in question equals the Claymore of the Blaze powers. Fire damage, Scorpion style.
-His suit is a set of heavy armor with daedric armor stats.
-His race is a mixture of orcish and nordic characteristics. He has a badass dremora voice also (it fits him very well in my opinion).
-All of this was because I wanted to make a tank who could take and inflict a lot of damage. A reliable sword you could count with, instead of you having to save his ass, repair his equipment and heal him like every 5 minutes.
-All things considered, I don't think he's very suitable for stealth-based characters, even if he is supposed to be a ninja, lol.
-Yeah, he may be kinda OP. But knowing how atrocious the Oblivion IA can be at times...you can take this as a compensation.
COMPANION SCORPION INSTALLATION/UNINSTALLATION:
Install:
1. Copy OMOD file to (install folder)\Oblivion\obmm\omod\
2. Start Oblivion Mod Manager.
3. Double-click the name of the mod in the right-hand side of the OBMM screen. (icon should turn blue)
Uninstall:
1. Start Oblivion Mod Manager.
2. Double-click the name of the mod in the right-hand side of the OBMM screen, click Yes. (icon should turn green)
INCOMPATIBILITY:
I haven't had any problems regarding this.
KNOWN ISSUES OR BUGS:
====================
1-He has no warcries. Only greets (insults) you while in conversation.
2-The subtitles display polite phrases that do not match at all with what's actually saying.
3-There's no love story involving him. Some people may find this unforgivable.
4-He got nerfed and he can't perform his signature move. Sorry ... if you do not like this, then "Get out of here"! He he...Just kidding.
