Rywyn Productions and the Rathunas team are proud to announce we have begun development of the much requested Gilgaliad-Rathunas Compatibility Updates!
Looking to create compatibility while preserving the unique flavour of both mods, the "patch" will consist of major updates to the landscape of Gilgaliad coupled with a smaller update to Rathunas. With these updates both mods will be able to coexist on their own account independently; however, we're not stopping there! Additionally we are developing a small .esp "patch" that will seamlessly merge both mods into a single cohesive landscape. Gilgaliad will be moving to the northwest, becoming the source of the river that will continue south flowing through Rathunas and into the Brena River beyond. The beyond borders wilderness that Gilgaliad will occupy will be reseeded as rocky yet verdant Colovian woodland, a region of vistas and waterfalls, unique flora and adventures large and small! This collaborative effort between the two teams is an active work-in-progress, but nevertheless a significant project. We will provide further updates as the work progresses and will be answering questions by comment or pm.
The GilgaliadMOROBv1.zip originally contained a folder erroneously named "Sounds" rather than the correct "Sound". This bug has been fixed and packaged into V1.012. If you downloaded this version you do not need to download the v1.01 patch. If you have downloaded the v1.01 and the v1.01 patch, this bug can be easily fixed by dropping the Gilgaliad sound resources contained within "Sounds" into "Sound", both found inside your Data folder.
This looks really cool, are you currently preparing an update as your last post states? I ask because if you are I am going to wait for the update before adding it to a new playthrough. Thank you.
Thank you, so glad you like. We absolutely are and as per my response to Erumaegil, it is going to be a level of badass consummate with the insane amount of time it's been in development. The new version will be out, honestly, fall 2024. Trying to aim for earlier, but fall is most likely. New terrain, new quests, new insane weapons bwahaha
Sounds awesome, I'm currently making a new load order and I am liking this,I will be interested to see what has been done as it is already a really cool mod, such a cool creation. Respect on the dev time too, well refined mods are truly gems so nice to see already rich mods get more content!
Adore this mod, always found the guild endings a bit abrupt so this is sweet sweet endgame content, writing fits right into oblivions quirkiness and level design is beautiful, big thumbs up, so excited for an update one day.
My friend, you have only seen Gilgaliad, Shrek's Swamp Edition bwahaha (which is how we feel about the current edition). When the new one comes out, oh my, oh my. (jk but we think you'll really enjoy it. So much new content, approx half a square mile of new terrain, quests, the works. You haven't been waiting for nothing!)
So... I think there may be a problem. I've completed the mage's guild questline and have since become the arch-mage. I did find the letter, but the representative hasn't shown up. How long does it usually take? I've never been to Gilgaliad before so... yeah.
Hi Emrysgrey, Absolutely, we can get this figured out. Sometimes Siper Ocurious, the messenger, gets hung up on his AI which is extensive and takes him around Cyrodiil. If you got the quest while he is in a far off place like the Imperial Bridge Inn, he can take a while. Try the following actions in order and check if each resolves the issue before trying the next:
1. Load a clean save and wait 48 hours in one of the public, non-guild areas of the AU. 2. While standing in the AU front yard, open the console, type setstage EHWC00GilMainWelcome 10.

the problem may be his energy level setting in his AI. Its 50 rather than 100, meaning he only has a 50% chance of a new package kicking in. I think generally NPCs with quest related AI packages should have a 100 energy level. An alternative is to script an evp tto the npc reference when you want to make sure a new package kicks in.

I'm so happy to hear there's still interest It's been a very long wait, and so much kudos for your patience, but we're very confident we will not disappoint We're aiming to release December of this year. Just finished up my MA thesis and we're in the midst of adding a big quest and some major level redesigns. These things take time but should be very cool when they're all done. I don't know if worth the wait haha, but they should be quite fun. We're trying hard to make sure everything meets a consistently high standard of quality, well above and beyond the current release. Hi, I just wondered if I could have some technical help please? I just installed this mod and it’s wonderful so far. However I’m having some issues with a couple of the rooms. When I’m the tower going out to the garden retreat it won’t let me - a message pops up saying you can’t go this way, turn back. I get the same message when going out a door near the Skooma refiners too, and in one other place but I forget where.
In the tower there is also a button that says something about fake books, but pushing it does nothing.
I also can’t find the Arch-Mages bedroom unless it’s accessed via the retreat or by pushing the button. If it’s somewhere else could you let me know please?
No one else has mentioned the problem with this door so I assume I have done something wrong?
I am so sorry for my month late reply. It is funny actually, we've been working on the mod steady for the past month, but spending so long actually working on it I've forgotten to check the page! My sincerest apologies and I hope I can help now.

- You need to disable border regions in your .ini. You can find it in Documents\My Games\Oblivion\. Change the line bBorderRegionsEnabled=1 to bBorderRegionsEnabled=0

- The tower connects to the library. Look for a door off to the left after you enter the library from the Mystic Hall. You can also check out the map in the Main Hall or the Library. The guards also hand out maps if you ask them for directions.

We have every intention of releasing. Both myself and my dev partner are very busy and it impacts how much time we can spend developing it, but we're about 90% complete. We have added about .5 square miles of new terrain to accommodate our new location. It's going to be very big. It's not called Gilgaliad Forev-, I mean Gilgaliad Reborn for nothing!
We do however appreciate your continued loyalty and interest! Don't worry, it will be rewarded!
Tried to replicate the bug but wasn't able. Can you give a full description of your situation, including time spent playing Gilgaliad, the level of your character and what questlines completed? Due to a quest you may be part of an invisible faction which is causing the unusual NPC disposition relations.
