If you can't rename some files you probably shouldn't be modding Oblivion anyway. Sorry this happened to you zelazko. Did you run the bat again after closing the CSE like the auth said?
@Room207: Love your other works! I've been looking at some of the CSE launchers around and notice yours is the only one that touches anything other than d3d9.dll. Have you found it necessary to rename some OBSE plugins, or is this an "abundance of caution" thing? Aren't certain plugins necessary to be available to the CSE in order to mod with them? Are there certain plugins that are or are not problematic? Thanks!
I'm not Room207 so I don't speak for him, but I can tell from my own experience, that this Launcher is so far the only one that works for me. The CSE often crashed on startup due to also some OBSE plugins I have, but can't tell which exactly that were, sorry for that.
Don't use it if you aren't well versed in computers.
It may not work for you if you ain't major geek. And if it happens not to work for you good luck to having waste 10 minutes renaming OBSE plugins if you happen to have some or few.
I just downloaded this and notice the CSE wouldn't start if MenuQue or Pluggy was renamed, I'm gonna edit the batch to just rename the d3d9.dll file only and see if it works. I'm also wondering if you ran into this issue also.
