Probably the best grass mod. If you're doing the bevilex guide, or just want the tall and lush grass you see in many Oblivion ENB vids, this is what you want. Kudos to author; I'd definitely consider this essential if you want to capture the most beauty out of Oblivion.
How did you install it? I feel really dumb, but I'm just using Vortex to install mods. No real instructions with this one. I tried just doing that but it's not making any changes.
Hi Brandy. Here's what I've been able to figure: Update1 appears to be purely a modder's resource, as the file names are not in use by Oblivion or any ESP I'm aware of.
EITHER, Darker Replacer Version or Replacer Version Update2 is needed. Optionally, the texture of either can be replaced by Better Transition. As described, it just seems to transition from ground to grass better. Personal taste really.
They all use the exact same meshes, (CRC checked). Darker's texture was updated most recently (4-2-17). Update 2 was last updated on 7-4-16. Better Transition's texture was updated on 12-10-16. All textures are the exact same size, so probably no difference in terms of "optimization".
One thing I've thought of doing is just make a BAIN package with an 00 Base containing the 3 meshes, then three 01's containing each texture, that way I can easily switch between textures till I decide which one I like better.
