   Unfortunately it doesn't work anymore if the unofficial oblivion patch 356b mod is installed too. Is there any chance to get it fixed?

   Just what I was looking for, thanks! For anyone else experiencing the same issue, this mod seems to be incompatible with Wrye Bash's bashed patch esp. I was only able to get the mod working by loading it after the bashed patch (bottom of the load order).

      Thanks for mentioning this. I had the same problem. FYI, it also works if you leave it in place and mark it "NoMerge".

   But is the asterisk only visible when you have the book in your inventory or can you see it when you mouse-over the book in for example a bookshelf?

      It will not add an asterisk to any skill books added by other mods, but it should not conflict in any way. Asterisks are added to vanilla skill books only.
