For some reason it's not working when I install with MO2/place the files in the data folder. Weird.

Update: I'm an idiot. I didn't have automatic archive invalidation enabled in MO2 because I did a fresh install of it. Enabling it got it to work. If anyone else has the same issue, go to profiles->manage and then tick the archive invalidation box.

This is one of the best retextures I've seen for Oblivion or even Skyrim, very well done.

Hi gecko, love your textures, also your sound overhaul! Was just wondering if there was any chance of getting a non-parallax version of this, like your ayleid textures? I think it doesn't play well with Oblivion Reloaded's POM shader otherwise.

Oblivion Reloaded's POM breaks parallax regardless of this mod. It's just less noticeable when the original textures are such low resolution (some of the textures like the prison cell arched walls were already parallax in vanilla). What I recommend is just disabling the POM in the OR .ini cause it just never looks right anyway. Otherwise, you can just install only the textures folder and ignore the meshes folder since it's the edited meshes that enable parallax on surfaces that previously didn't have it.

I'm very sorry, but this is rather unfortunate out-dated knowledge
bogus advice, would 100% lead to nothing but a bulk of complaints.

Because modern iterations of OR's shadows need pom to function properly.

Well, I honestly don't know what the alternative is short of downright modding out parallax from the game altogether because the exact same problems are going to be there with any pre-existing vanilla parallax textures using the POM shader. Something about the way it displays them compared to the vanilla rendering just looks broken.

I think you can effectively render it inert without disabling the shader altogether if you set the HeightMapScale to 0.00 in the POM.ini

i thought this too, there's odd bugs with it when you enable OR parallax and effectively disable with that parameter, perhaps it's the older version OR im using? the normals/textures pop and flicker quite often especially under light sources

I've downloaded and reinstalled this texture pack multiple times, and I have not noticed any change either.  I've even compared the .dds files included here with the default ones and they look the same as the original.  It's a shame, this looks like a fantastic improvement over original but it might be the wrong upload.

Could be windows messing it up if you have oblivion installed in program files

I must be missing something, but I've dragged all the relevant folders into my Data folder, but there's no change in-game.

I'm using Wrye Bash - but does this mod require archive invalidation from OBMM in order to activate these textures?

I'm having the same issue where it looks like the normal maps are correct, but the diffuse aren't being used. Only unlike others with this problem, I'm not using Oblivion Reloaded or ENB yet, because I was having trouble getting ENBoost to work with All Natural. So I uninstalled everything related to ENB for the time being. That said, does this mod require an ENB/Oblivion Reloaded to work properly?

I hope some day the rest of the game can receive textures as well made as lazygecko's work. Vanilla flavor in amazing detail.

The download gives me fcteResurrection.esp and associated scripts rather than Gecko's Imperial Dungeon Textures...?

      Eh. Nexus weirdness.

Google led me to this mod via https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/46864/?tab=4&&selected_game=101

...which brings you here in a way that makes Nexus think this is a Skyrim mod, which leads to an incorrect download.

      I think.

Sad for me because these textures look fantastic.
