Well, this file went over like a lead balloon. It just goes to show that, just because something is difficult and interesting and takes a lot of time to do, doesn't mean it's necessarily useful
And it took several tries (at least half a dozen) to get it right. The first set of macros I wrote didn't get more than a quarter done after 150 hours of processing. I rewrote them several times, and now the current set takes about 80 minutes on my old laptop. Not bad for 68 million data points!
This is interesting. Had a look at the Data with Open Office. Great, except they barfed the Ignore_All in the dictionary somehow. The solution here seems a little tedious, but heck yeah looks good.
Thanks! I'm not sure it's particularly useful but it is interesting. And it has helped us hunt down every single land tear for the unofficial patches, where previously we had to rely on observation alone.
