smoking braziers weirdly makes the game look so much better. still holding out for someone to make a full game version (without all the other smoking lighting. even just the torches looks slightly excessive to me, especially on my shitty laptop that probably wouldn't even handle all the smoke).
I have a suggestion for this mod. You mentioned that Skingrad would be a superior fit for the smoke effects tested here. So maybe set Anvil to have falling feathers shed by seagulls? It would fit with the MO of this mod series and be environmentally appropriate for the city.
Feathers would be 1-3 in total for the whole city. How many times have you seen a feather flying around near seagulls? My guess is never. The feather fx will be used, very rarely, in the actual PA if it ever gets made.
this looks really great, but i have questions/suggestions, in the third pic i can see a brazier very close to another light source, wouldn't that cause to people without enb to have a very bright light? maybe too much light in one spot? other thing, i think it would be great for the brazier to shut down in the day, i think about it from a performance point of view, only to have 2 or 3 more fps
anyway, i think this mod looks awesome, i would love to see the brazier all across cyrodiil, something more or like ELFX Exterior does for skyrim, keep doing an awesome work
About the brazier next to a lantern: I don't know, maybe. I put it there specifically to test how the smoke reacted to artificial lightsources.
About turning them off during the day: It could be doable, altough complex, but Skyrim's don't turn off during the day, and that's one of the reason its cities are more immersive, even though they are smaller and uglier than Oblivion. You can argue it's due to the cold, as an in universe reason, but northern cyrodillic cities aren't supposed to be hot places either, so it makes sense having braziers, at least during autumn and winter months, lit all day long.
Speaking of, Real Lights turns off Bruma braziers during the day, which doesn't make any sense, so I'm gonna ovverride it in the next update of "Smoking Firesources - Project Ambience".
About putting them all across Cyrodill: in PA, if it will ever be completed let alone realeased, every city, village and some POI will have braziers with different style and smoke orientation/intensity etc.
Please if you do an update, make it separately, I like the original and I use redecoration and if they light off while many hours, it will not work with my decorations. Your mod is very nice. I keep this version just in case. Thank you for that good work. Hope there will be some like that in Chorrol.

Also, these are tests, not actual mods.
