I have a question for any other users of Wrye Bash, Betty's Animal Planet, and Maskar's Oblivion Overhaul; since Maskar's must be loaded after the bashed patch, would that somehow screw with these leveled lists after they're imported into the bashed patch (using relev and delev)? I haven't had time to dig into Maskar's in xEdit much, so I was hoping someone out there would be able to offer their expertise on the matter : )

Elbethien, thank you so much for your wonderful mods! You are one of those great contributors that are keeping the mod scene going for Oblivion. This game has been close to my heart for so many years, kudos for making it much better!

If you're still curious, I don't think it would have any effect. Maskars uses empty leveled lists & populates them via script, which is why it needs to load after the BP, since Bashing removed empty LVLs. So the ones that are merged into the BP would stay in effect, and the LVLs from MOO would be added to the lot & populated dynamically. You may find an overabundance of of animals though, since I believe MOO adds a bunch.

I'm using this with Maskar, no problem at all (and not too many animals either).

So I love this mod and have made my own changes to suit my own preferences, but I have one little problem. Does anyone know what leveled list sewers get applied to them? I keep finding water buffalo in sewers and it's really throwing me off lol.

Not much solution here, but rather a request - if you find out how to change it, would you like to share? Lizards in sewers are OK, water buffalo - not so much. I understand they are there because they roam lake shores too - so it's the same leveled list, but it would be nice if they could be kept off some areas.

Well, believe it or not you actually just gave me the answer I needed, I didn't know they were the same leveled lists as those used for shallow waters, I was thinking the sewers worked from their own leveled lists and was struggling, searching for something that wasn't there. I removed the aBettyCarabaoandElephant Leveled List Entry from the LL0WaterShallow100 & LL0WaterShallow75 Leveled Creature lists and boom, no more sewer cows lol. Unfortunately this also means no more water buffalo or elephants around the streams and shores, but all of the cows on the beaches of Cyrodiil kind of bothered me as well. They still have plenty of entries spread around in the wilderness and roads, so you should still be able to find them in arguably less silly places. I also removed elephants and crocodiles from the mod entirely prior to this for my own personal preference which involves a similar process of just opening the leveled list (aBettyCarabouandElephant for example) at the bottom of the Leveled Creature header and just finding the creature you'd want to remove, or delete the leveled list entirely if you don't want to see any of them (the lizard and crocodiles in my case, since MOO already adds lizards and I'm not fond of the crocs due to their animations).

Having described all of this, am I correct in assuming elephants are also in the sewers? LoL

I'll put instructions in the spoiler:
      Spoiler:
      Show
      Backup the plugin
      Load the plugin in TES4Edit
      Expand BettysAnimalPlanet.esp
      Expand Leveled Creature
      Click LL0WaterShallow100
In the right window, right click the cell in the LVLO - Leveled List Entry row in the BettysAnimalPlanet.esp column wherever it says aBettyCarabaoandElephant
      Click Remove
      Repeat for LL0WaterShallow75
      Done! Exit.

:D Thanks for the detailed instruction! Such step by step guides for small things make me feel way more confident around TES4Edit (a few similar short lessons in CSE wouldn't hurt either). I may have some experience with textures and nifs, but those two labyrinthine rooms are where I still need a guiding hand. I'd never had time to study them on my own.

I never studied them either, I just broke things until I finally figured some of it out LoL.
Glad to return a favor for all the good work you've done here.

I don't know if anyone has asked this yet but are some or all of these animals regional only?

Two years late, but they're applied to leveled lists so you'll see them where the leveled list is applied. Crocodile will appear near swamps, monkeys will appear on mountains etc. I don't believe there will be a difference between being in Cheydinhal vs. Chorrol.

This a cool mod. The extra creatures awesome. I did find the Piranha meshes and textures are missing from latest version.

Only recently came back for another new game of Oblivion. Found Betty's jungle mod, and a boat by her, and now this. You are a wonderful wonderful person who has brought much new life for Oblivion. Thank you.

    Amazing mod (:
I would like to merge them into my levelled lists. Which tags should I use ? " Delev" and "Relev" is ok ?
Should I keep the ESP activated after rebuilding the bashed bash ?
    Thanks

Thank you. Yes, esp should stay active, it is adding new animals. For the other question, I don't know

      Thanks for the reply, Betty.
For the people who wants to add these animals to their leveled list, it seems that adding "Delev" and "Relev" tag to the mod with Wrye Bash and importing these tags to bashed patch work fine. I can see now these animals with the creatures added by other mods.

In the "Mods" tab of Wrye Bash, click on the .esp to highlight/select it, then right click on the "Bash Tags" tab in the bottom right, then check the tags " Delev" and "Relev", and then rebuild your Bashed Patch. That's it!

Thanks Bevi. I was wondering this too.
Wanted to use Francesco's, creature diversity and this together. Seems to work now =)

You have to manually add DELEV and RELEV tags to get the most of this mod.
