Will this conflict with anything, which adds more options to the dialog of NPCs? Also, will it work with something like Expanded Greetings? Will it overwrite these changes (leveled lists typical behaviour?), or is the system adding still all options from other mods?
I've always used it with Expanded Greetings without issue. Its impossible for this mod to conflict with anything that adds brand new dialogue topics. However, if you're using another mod that also edits the base game's dialogue topics for whatever reason, there could be very minor conflicts. For this reason I always recommend putting RPDO at the bottom of your load order.
Not all topics are. Some topics are used in multiple contexts. For example, one person's answer might suit "Who is Thoronir?" while another might suit "Are you Thoronir?". Because these wildly different answers all share the same topic, I had no choice but to leave them alone, unless I wanted to pull the game's dialogue apart and completely rebuild the game's dialogue topics from scratch.
Yeah, i love the idea of this mod a lot, and where it is implemented it is great. But for me that inconsistency breaks the immersion. And that's absolutely the fault of the game and not the creator of this mod. Still great job on what's there and that's worthy of an endorsement even if i won't be using this mod.
I love this mod! It has a permanent place in my load order for sure, the change makes the game so much more natural! Out of curiosity, elderscrolliangamer, do you ever plan on doing the same overhaul for any Shivering Isles topics? :)
Will this negatively affect any quest dialogues that may require an NPC to say an unaltered comment or question and thus prevent the quest from moving to the next stage?
The mod needs to be loaded at the absolute bottom of your load order to work properly. I'm not sure how bashed patches would affect that, but try without and it'll definitely work.

I bashed the patch. Maybe I should not do that?
