Would it be interesting to come across more aspects of Ayleid culture? One of the things added by this mod is one of the main forms of Heartlander currency- The Platinum coin. 2000 years since they died out explorers can still find this form of ancient money not only in the Ayleid ruins, but where people have distributed them throughout the empire as an alternative to the Imperial Septim. They are valued at 10 gold, but you still have to convert them to spend them. Other changes require a nod to modder Galn whose "Perfect Gems" was a large inspiration to increase the variety of gems in Oblivion's otherwise limited range. There are now three sizes of Gold and Silver nuggets each, as well as the new Copper and Platinum ones; Copper, Platinum, Silver, and Gold bars, five types of Pearls, four types of each of the other gems, and four types of the new Opals, Amethysts, and different colors of Gem Shards. Each of them meticulously weighted and priced for realism, and added to all pertinent Leveled Lists, and even some manual placement. Each of them has new icons, meshes and textures. Check the Readme for more details.

Updated to ver1.50:
Added a few instances to the game world of a centuries old archaeological journal that gives some history and backstory to the Ayleids usage of their currency. Translation of the Elven Runic script is not given verbatim by the journal's scribe, so more details may be gained through careful study of the Elven alphabet.

Updated to ver1.60:
Now XMarksTheSpot's mod, Glittering Prizes, has been integrated with Precious Stones! Check out the new pic to see! Changed the sizes of the opals and the different nuggets so they represent their stated sizes appropriately. Huge accolades to X for his brilliant visual enhancements!

Updated to ver1.61:
Now you have a choice between using this mod with or without gold coin weights! There is a seperate .esp in the archive for you to choose from...

Updated to ver1.62:
Fixed the internal image formatting for the book so that it will take up the whole page properly now. Fixed the complaint about the FlawlessRuby.nif having it's particle effect map assignment going in the wrong direction.

Updated to ver1.63:
Added the new textures and meshes for more realistic Black Pearls and Opals.

Updated to ver1.64:
Added the new textures and meshes for all four Amethysts; as well as the Gold, Silver, and Copper Bars- all of these by X'! I did the 9 icons for those and built the new Copper Nuggets in all three sizes creating a new mesh for each of them with the appropriate texturing. Everything is adjusted and placed in the Levelled Lists. The 'no gold weight' version now has the Platinum coins retaining their mass (which fixes the sound effect problem that relies on the Havoc engine looking for an Object mass flag to generate sound effects).

Updated to ver1.64.2:
Bug fix to solve an incompatibility problem with the launcher not recognizing special symbols in the plugin name.

Updated to ver1.65.x:
All of the 1.65's were about balancing, refining artwork, fixing technical issues and bug fixes, cleaning up the Particle Effects, adding new content, building new models, and prepar-ing for the new format changes soon to come.

Updated to ver1.66:
Our new structural model is taking longer than expected to refine so we owe you guys another version of the new content sooner than later. Built a new edition of the mod so people would have more choices- choose between standard edition and the new Original Glittering Prizes edition.
