Hey, I noticed Namriel seems to use a GKB texture. I've been trying to get ahold of the guy to find out if his tree resource uses any recolored Skyrim assets that I can't use in my Oblivion stuff I'm working on. I don't suppose you know if any of his textures include Bethesda assets?
Also, the biggest conflict with Unique Landscapes that I found is still there. I uploaded a screenshot of a sunken Ayleid ruin added by UL Blackwood if you think you might have time to take a look at it. I'll put in a patch request for Unique Landscapes as well.
All right, while making a new tree texture, I investigated the leaves folder further and found a texture used on three shrubs and I can not tell you where it came from Oo Thought it is a Ubanga texture, but I can not find it in the latest update of Ubanga. I took it out since I don't know its source. However, at the moment I can not help you further.
And I had a look at your screenshot. This is not happening in my game. I will try to change the load order to see what happens. Thank you for showing.
Edit: It is the load order. Load the palms before all UL. UL is changing some water heights while palms esps don't. Had the same with ducks and swans.
Okay. Will changing the load order overwrite the Palms changes to blackwood, though?
Also yeah one of the bamboo textures I think is from GKB Green Trees for Skyrim, which is a modder's resource. I don't have Skyrim instalelled anymore so I don't know if he recolored any Skyrim assets is all, was just wondering if anyone else knew since I can't get ahold of him.
Using the optional files, I'm getting missing texture (AKA bright purple) for Green Stain Cup. Fairly sure I haven't just copied the textures to the wrong location, I've tried re-installing a few times without luck.
Fixed this myself. Opened up MshmGreenStainCup01.nif in nifskope and saw it was expecting it's corresponding texture to be in 'textures\aluban\flora\tropic' so I created that directory and copied the files from 'OPTIONAL\data\textures\plants\Betty' to that location.
After a bit of playing I realized that the area around Bruma is, to put it bluntly, kinda ugly.
I've been trying to hunt down the files that change the area around Bruma but have only been able to return most of the grass and dirt and only one pine tree (with yellow leaves). Are more than just the pine trees changed? What other trees are around Bruma?
In snow regions it is every tree and shrub ending with the word "snow". The orange road trees end with "fa". Or you can try this http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/download/1000008505 It is an older attempt from me to create an autumn and bamboo forest there. It only changes that region. You can use it as a reference.
Specific trees/shrubs include TreeEastHemlockLeavesSnow, TreeScotchPineLeavesSnow, TreeWhitePineNeedlesSnow, and ShrubVineMapleLeavesSnow.
If you use Unique Landscapes there are also ShrubGenericInkberryLeavesFa (or something similar using a copy of the same texture) and I've seen a handful of ShrubEuonymusLeavesSnow, not enough to make it worth fussing over a replacer.
Note you might have to hack together some textures to properly fit any trees if you replace them, as the mapping might be different. Speedtrees that need deleted if you want the vanilla trees back are TreeWhitePineSnow.spt, TreeEastHemlockSnow.spt, and TreeScotchPineSnow.spt.
Yeah, I realized that its basically almost everything with "snow." Thanks for the help guys, and once again, amazing work Elbethien. Running around the West Weald is pretty fun with the huge grass.
Damn, this looks better than mine easily. I'm not big on the Jerall Mountains, looks a little bit awkward there, but still, this looks much nicer than my attempts.
Out of curiosity, what do the Gold Coast and Colovian Highlands look like? Jungley like everything else or a bit drier and brushier?
Hi I think opinions differe, but I thank you very much I work on this since Brittainy's first release, so I had plenty time.
Regions with less trees have dryer grass, but also some green spots, and Gold Coast is a lot of bamboo thicket. Those regions still need some attention though. My work is never done
Out of personal curiosity, where do you find such fantastic texture resources? It would save me from having to awkwardly ask for permissions from other modders to use their resources.
Oh for example with this search on nexus http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/searchresults/?src_cat=82 but I also ask for permissions if necessary and make my own textures.
Somebody on the bethsoft forum introduced me to CGTextures.com and Plaintextures.com. Love it, but unless you subscribe you're pretty limited in how many downloads you get per 24 hour period.

Blackwood is one of the UL mods, that is still not worked on. There are a few more. Have patience

Any ideas?
Great name, and great mod btw =)))
Thank you very much!
