Great idea! As another poster said; there is too much chance of being disarmed in Oblivion and Havoc causes unrealistic havoc... Will install promptly and endorse once I'm able. I am so sick of losing weapons or having to refight the darn battles. I wonder if this will cure Vilja's butter fingers?!

(Some suits of armour had loops of chain on the gauntlets that you would push your blade through so being disarmed became very unlikely)

I agree with you about the disarming attacks! Normally I love immersion, and I don't usually install mods that inhibit realism features, but the disarming attacks in Oblivion are particularly annoying because of the Havok behavior of the weapons. If my weapon fell to the ground near my character, that would be one thing, but Havok can cause them to fly across the room, fall through the floor, etc., making them nearly impossible (or sometimes literally impossible) to find and/or retrieve. I also think disarming attacks are too common in the game, compared to what I've experienced in real life as a historical reenactor. I have had swords knocked out of my hands, but not that often, and many weapons have pommel "basket" guards and similar features that make disarming really unlikely.

Thanks for making this. It's one of those mods that's been tickling the back of my brain for a while, but I've never gotten around to making it. Now I don't have to!

P.S. In the interest of fairness, I'm also perfectly okay with my character not being able to disarm enemies, either. :-)
