NOTES WHILE PLAYING -------------------------------------------------------------- +Blockhead Bug: The latest version of Blockhead has a bug where your character's data doesn't update properly when you jump from one savegame to another. If you see neckseams on your character or other weirdness like your male character having a female body, etc... 1. Make sure you're in 3rd person mode 2. Open the console by pressing the tilda '~' button 3. Type "player.update3d"
This also works when you exit the "Character Creation Menu" (showracemenu). Make your face adjustments and after you exit the menu, type "player.update3d" in 3rd person mode.
+Never set your character's age to -1000
INCOMPATIBILITIES -------------------------------------------------------------- +NPC Tex Tweak: Unless you've setup your NPCs exactly like Nuska's, don't use NPC Tex Tweak. It will cause neckseams. +Self-Shadowing: Self-Shadows draw a line between the head and body. +Third party Age-Maps: That add wrinkles, tattoos, facial scars, etc, that isn't overwritten by the textures here. +ini Settings: "bFaceGenTexturing=0" in Oblivion.ini will create neckseams. Make sure "bFaceGenTexturing=1".
RECOMMENDED OBLIVION RELOADED SETTINGS -------------------------------------------------------------- If your main characters are Argonian or Khajiits +EnableSkin = 0 +EnableBloom = 0
FROM NOW ON ANYONE WHO CLAIMS BODY AND HEAD MISMATCH WILL BE BANNED FROM ALL MY MODS, HERE AND ELSEWHERE. 1. Make sure you installed Oblivion Character Overhaul v2 first. If you see gray textures, you haven't installed OCO properly. 2. GET YOUR ARCHIVEINVALIDATION WORKING!!! 3. NO, I WILL NOT HOLD YOUR HAND TO GET ARCHIVEINVALIDATION TO STICK. WORK IT OUT YOURSELVES.
If you are on steam, you'll need to reset the timestamps for your mods. OBMM and TESMM can do this under utilities. Another solution is to try using this mod to change the way Oblivion handles timestamps. Read the description of that mod to find out why this happens.
DO NOT try to install this with Vortex. Go for manual install and exctract the files directly to your Data directory, will save you a lot of headaches.
So this mod is almost working perfectly as in i don't have oddly discolored bodies anymore, however the neck seam is now replaced by an actual black line where the head and body meet, does anyone who knows more about mods than i perhaps know what i've done wrong? i installed HGEC and ocov2 trough OBMM and the idiot version of this mod manually.
You lifesaver, lol. Doesn't work quite as well for characters with darker skin. And for some reason the hands just won't match the rest of the body. It's so weird.
Edit: had to uninstall. I'd appreciate if anyone could give me the installation order. I install seamless; do I say yes to all or no to all? Then I install OCOv2 and get the same prompt. Makes a difference as to whether or not it works.
For me, I use Vortex and simply installed OCO v2, then idiot version of this seamless fix and it works fine. I did not install any other bodies before or after this.
Anyone have a blurry Khajiit body texture problem? I noticed it in chargen when I made a new game. Hopefully it doesn't show up everywhere later, but I expect that. Everything else is fine, just an oddly blurry body texture for Khajiit.
Using idiot version, tried installing nude bodies over it, now boobs sag horribly and are distorted. Wondering if corrupt files or I need max compatibility skeleton :\ Works fine without the nude files, but I would greatly prefer nude.
Edit: Re-downloaded nude patch, same problem. Edit #2: Found my problem... BSA's were somehow set with very incorrect dates. Fixed them, everything works fine now.
I doubt that. I double-check to make sure everything works properly and everything is installed properly. Manually installing the coronerra skeleton didn't help either and now the breasts are worse.
I can't believe it. For years I've been playing this game, and the seams were always a major annoyance to me. Now - given the right outfit - they're gone. Endorsed. I juts ask myself: Why didn't Bethesda do that?
You used Blender 2.49b, I guess from the pics linked in your description? I've been using Blender quite a while now for Skyrim, but it might be also useful here, because there's only a limited amount of outfits that are seamless.
I'm having a massive issue here and I was hoping I could get some help. My Kahjiit bodies are just... broken as hell. I only have this, New Eyes for OcOv2, New Brows for OCOv2, Oblivion Character Overhaul(If only this is install the texture works but looks not good), and some hair mods. (I was following Bevilex' modlist for Oblivion - Graphics).

(If the picture gets removed here is a loose description: fur texture is flat, seam lines going on every part.. for example the wrist has a line around it and running up the arm to around the neck. The left leg (our right) just has a big hole in it, the feet look like they have the bottom part of the foot on top of it.)
Provides path of least resistance for improved heads, neck seams AND bodies... Calls out a portion of the community for being idiots when we choose the faster method... Yeah we're the idiots Love the mod and appreciate your work here, but taking an easier route when available is generally an intelligent thing to do.
Hmmm, something odd going on. I'm coming back to Oblivion after a while, and had some issues with neckseams. After downloading a few mods that didn't seem to fix it, I pulled and reinstalled, checking at each step. And I found that just having the base Seamless OCO patch with none of the unofficial OCO patches or even the nude patch work (I have HGEC Body with BBB 1.12 and the NoMaaM BBB animation replacer, Blockhead, Seamless Equipment (Core and BBB) and the OCO patch) and it looks like everything is good so far. I haven't tested with any person other than my PC (Breton) and the guy standing behind me in Anvil, but the character gets naked just fine. (Female) Haven't checked a male PC, one of the mods added nude bodies for them, but I'm not sure which it was. And it appears that the OCO unofficial patch brings back the neck seam for some, but it does mean that certain mods (Horse Armor) might actually work. Anyone had any interactions between the OCO unofficial patch and this mod? Do I even need the OCO patch (Since it appears to overwrite the OCO esp.) or is that no longer needed with OCO v2.03?
If you want as little neckseam as possible install order is absolutely paramount. Anything you install after this that touches body or head meshes or textures in any way will give you back your neckseams.
Trying to remember, I think this was the last or next to last mod. Also getting the weird Khajiit teeth problem. Not sure what's causing that, had that before and it fixed itself after a while. The neckseams now are only noticeable majorly on a few NPCs, so it's not horrible (Most are Argonians or weirdly-shaded humanoids.) I can deal with that.

They look better that way IMO.
