Mage Equipment Patch

Author: Nakakita
Date: 12/12/2014
Version: 1.0-TGND

Description:

This is a patch for version 2.1 of Mage's Equipment by Najaknevrec. It converts the robes to fit TGND, and gives all gloves and boots new female models which are also for TGND. The original mod is for Bab, though it says otherwise in Najaknevrec's readme, but this originally started out as a Bab request. I just liked the robes and wanted them for me. I do have plans for HGEC-C and HGEC-E (IE- The same sizes EVE covers all equipment for.) As there are quite a lot of robes, do not expect those patches immediately.

Requirements:

A working copy of Oblivion (no, really)
Version 2.1 of Mage's Equipment by Najaknevrec: http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/18875/?
TGND by Luchaire, or the updated version by Nessa:
http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/30914/?

Installation:

Install the .7z using the mod manager of your choice. Or just drag and drop the .esp and the meshes folder into your Oblivion data directory. Check the ESP in whatever mod manager you use, and done. Load it after Najaknevrec's mod.

Removal:

Delete MEQ_NakakitaPatch.esp, and anything in meshes\MagEq.

Conflicts/known problems:

Some of the meshes are a bit wonky. I did my best, but I am not a blender expert yet. There's a few clipping/weighting issues here and there. I did my upmost to minimize them, but I couldn't get everything with my current skill level. There shouldn't be anything super distracting though.

Also, the esp should be loaded after the mod it's a patch for, or things will crash/not work. I think I gave this the right bashed tags (graphics/no merge), but if I didn't, and it gets merged into the bashed patch, my changes might get eaten? Check if you know how.

Other body mods won't really work, even if they have the same UV mapping because TGND's wrists and ankles are really small compared to the others.

Permissions:

If you want to modify my meshes, go right ahead. I'd recommend you use the source ones by Najaknevrec anyway (and you should ask him for permission if you do that), but if you really want to use mine, or want to fix the issues mine have, feel free to modify and release. Just stick my name in the credits, and shoot me a PM on Nexus, because I'd like to see it. Just no charging money for it, because that's just impolite.

Contact:

I'm nakakita on Nexusmods and the Bethesda forums. Bother me there.

Credits:

Najaknevrec for the original mod + its meshes.
Calyps for helping me with some weighting issues and teaching me to use blender in general.
Nessa for similar reasons.
KadVenku for dealing with permissions/taking care of my upload files so I don't have to.
