    If you'll ever experience an issue with this mod or any other, that texture of a tail is stretched to eternity (you'll know if you'll see it) you may solve this by installing one tiny file:

    HINT (POTENTIAL SOILER): if you have problem with finding a certain key, that key might be "hidden" inside certain book. And if you have problems finding certain person/body I would start looking under the ground. Like a cellar.

    Where is Ales's body, I've been up & down the Orange road several times

    Mod seems very nice (so far) however.

      Here’s there on a new game.

      Something tells me he was aggro’d by a wild orc from MOO given I did this route on the main quest on the way to the temple with Martin many hours previously. Word of caution to others I suppose.

      Thanks for the input, I may try to come up with a workaround in case the player can't start the mod's quest.

      Had the same issue with Ales missing, most likely killed somewhere by MOO orcs.
      In case someone else needs this, I fixed it by using the console to add Ales' instruction book (player.additem xx00C00D 1, where xx is the mod number in your load order). Then you can talk to the Cheydinhal guy like normal and continue the quest.

      Nice mod BTW, really like the concept and execution!

    no non-cobl version? or can it be played without cobl?

      I made it on COBL version, as I use it, and COBL is required by many important mods and adds much to the game.

      You may however *try* to just delete COBL from file header in TES4Edit, or use Create Dummy Masters in Wrye Bash, or just create an empty file that is named Cobl Main.esm. And see if the game loads. If you will not have immediate Crash To Desktop, than it might actually work. Probably with missing Cobl Luggage but that shoudn't be much of a problem.

      EDIT: Or consider using a part of COBL - Cobl Main.esm, probably won't add much to the game without Cobl.esp, but will be there for compatibility.

      I decided to skip this update since I already took the time to edit the original Golden Perch to make all the npcs lv 25-30, with enchanted armor, weapons, etc. to put them on par with the rest of the npcs in my game. I don't wanna have to redo that work, plus take the risk of having COBL esm unchecked in my load order, which sounds like a bad idea to me... but if it actually works, cool. I haven't had any problems with the old mod so far, don't really see any advantage to updating it. Others who haven't edited the original GP at all might want to go for the new version assuming you can deal with that COBL esm.

      @songlife care to share that edited ESP that you have? And I can probably make the Cobl requirement isolated into a separate patch.

    I tested this out and there seems to be a gap where I can see through the land in front of the Inn. This is possibly due to the UL Compilation I am using or Oblivion Uncut. It's not too big of a problem for me, though. Thank you so much for including a verson with all the updates! :)

    Hey CarlosS4444! I love the idea behind this mod and I can't wait to give it a try. I just installed it and I'm going to try and get it in my game. I am so glad that I have found this, since there are so few mods that allow players to manage their own business. Anyway, I'll be back with feedback once I properly test it out.

      I saw your post elswhere that you probably already use Adventurer's Shop so I don't have other recommendations I think - that mod is good too I recommend the patch for it though: http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/41948/?

    I played through this mod and I enjoyed it. I would rate it a 6/7.

    The good about it is that the story coming to you owning the inn is well-done. And that was unexpected. The only thing that makes me not give the 7, maybe the 7 and a half, is the minimap bugs+typos (but those give you the chance to get 7) and the fact that you have to come back each friday to give the inn the supply he needs. I mean, I'm a hero, I should come back just to get my earnings, not to supply you with wine.

    I would have just added the possibility for the main character to supply wine to get a 'bonus' sum of money gained.

    All in all, thanks for the mod.

      I uploaded a version with typos fixed and additional profit. Minimap bugs wo't be solved (at least for now, or until I'll learn how to fix it).
