=p i heard you had to progress through a large number of mage guild quests to unlock the one where you can make black soul gems at glowing purple altars. i dont know how far it is, but i thought "what if someone wanted to do the daedric quests that needs that black soul gem first and didnt want to use the console codes"
and really the closest mods that give you a black soul gem, are the kind that dump boxes of EVERY item in the game into the game itself. XD
There is no need to join the Mages Guild to create black soul gems using the altars at the appropriate forts. All you need is the knowledge of how to do it. See the UESP Wiki page Oblivion: Black Soul Gem for more details.
i did not know that striker. but still, my mod has merit for those who just want the supplies without hunting around. ^_^ plus 250k cash and 2500 lockpicks is a nice bonus to it methinks
That wasn't my point at all dartanis ... I was just giving an FYI. You may want to consider changing the classification for your mod though, it's a better fit in the Cheats and God Items category than Quests and Adventures.
My thought on that was if a person was looking for a mod that does something like this they'd start their search in the Cheats and God Items category, but I also see your point. Too bad it couldn't be in both.
