The mod works well with the Steam version of Nehrim (you don't need to install OBSE and Blockhead, they are already included). Look at tlc44's post below, or use Mod Organizer 2 (with a little tweaking): the key is Archive Invalidation. EDIT : I advise everyone to use the wonderful SkyBSA to have the BSA work well.
I will replay Nehrim with my mod and try to fix the little things that have been reported here or that I will see in game. ^^
A external link to the Newsea Hair Pack is given as the original author has not reuploaded it yet.
For anyone trying to get this to work with the Steam release of Nehrim, these were the steps I took:
-Download the prerequisites (just the three different hair mods ---- OBSE and Blockhead are already included in the Steam release); go ahead and set these archives in some separate downloads folder
-Extract the hair archives (specifically the Data folder) into the OBLIVION folder on the drive you installed Nehrim on (ie "E:\Steam\steamapps\common\Oblivion"); I reiterate that this is the Oblivion folder, not Nehrim (the Steam release renames your actual Oblivion folder as Oblivion Backup when you're in Nehrim mode)
-Download the main ORN file and extract the esp and BSA to the data folder of the Oblivion directory (ie "E:\Steam\steamapps\common\Oblivion\Data")
-Download WryeBash and install it to the Oblivion directory; open it up and activate all of the data files (Nehrim.esm, Translation.esp, and ORN.esp ---- make sure they are in that order!); click into the Installers pane and right click anywhere in the blank space, make sure that BSA Redirection is checked
-You can click on the Oblivion icon at the bottom of the WryeBash window to launch the game; good habit to launch the game from WryeBash from now on
clicking on the oblivion icon at the bottom of gives me a pop up for obse_loader saying I should be running the game from steam. When I run the game from steam or click on oblivion.exe directly the game immediately crashes.
I have followed your steps exactly; however orn.bsa isn't displaying in the installers tab; should it be?
Has anyone figured out if there's a way to make Robert's Female Body override HGEC properly? I've tried diferent combinations and load orders and I can never escape the grey/mismatched textures phase, although the underwear does change to that of Robert's.
You probably need SkyBSA for archive invalidation and to get past the BSA timestamp issue. But yes, it would require an English version of Oblivion unless someone is willing to translate the mod.
i shoudnt have installed this bcuz i thought is it for TESIV Oblivion but its for Nehrim game only for f*ck sake. gettin missing nehrim.esm error upon starting the game.
I'm using GOG version and I have issues with new hairstyles, eyes and sloders not showing up in character creation. also my character's hands have weird grey patches. WDIT: Nvm, fixed the faces/character generation. I had to install WryeBash to Nehrim directory then did what tlc44 said (went to Installers directory) then made a Bashed Patch just to be sure. The hands still look weird in 1st person view but I'll probably have to perform what nepenthye said and see if it works.
I’m having a weird bug. For females, faces look fine but the body is completely messed up. There are patches of blue skin and the body textures don’t match up with the body: ie, nipple and genitalia textures are on their backs, legs, etc.
I’m using GoG - I installed Nehrim from SureAI’s website and am using MO2 (and tried installing manually, same results). Anyone know a fix?
edit: installing the Oblivion version of HGEC and allowing it to overwrite ORN fixed it, but you need SkyBSA for this fix to work.
Hi, I'm having a slight problem. Everything seems to be installed fine, and I've went through several different ways to deal with ArchiveInvalidation, and my character's body looks normal most of the time. After I found the Destruction Master's gauntlets however, the exposed portion of the hand is suddenly grey. https://i.imgur.com/13W3Jmy.png?

Seriously, I am very grateful to you. This bug has driven me crazy.
Anyone got an idea how to fix that?
