Thank you for giving this a try. I am not sure if it is a waste of space here, but decided it could come down if it no one considers it worth endorsing (Green Button next to the last, at top of the page under Bunzi's feet). Be careful, Bunzi is habit forming & can cause uncontrollable laughter. I have seen him take out a bandit with one bite to the ...er...leg pit.
There can be several reasons that you may be unable to see Bunzi.
You may have forgotten to check his BattleBunnyV1Wht.esp in the Data Files, at the start up, BEFORE you clicked on Play.
Another is that he sometimes hides in the water straight in front of you when you emerge from the Prison Sewer. He is not far from the shore, just past the clams 2 or 3 feet, & on the right of them a foot or two, & will probably emerge soon. He has water breathing to prevent horrible accidents in Dungeons & will go into the water on his own.
Another reason is that you may be using a Mod Manager that does not always load the meshes or Textures for Bunzi. This can happen even when they are installed in their proper places in your Data Folder. This can be a rare or a persistent problem.
Another reason is that you did not add the meshes and/or textures for Bunzi in your Oblivion/Data Folder.
His meshes should be found in: Oblivion/Data/Meshes/creatures/Rat/ as rabbit01White.nif
His textures should be found in: Oblivion/Data/textures/creatures/rabbit/ as rabbit_n.dds and rabbit_white.dds
It is possible that it is a problem with a Steam installation. I have no experience with that & am unable to advise you if that is the case.
If there is a similar problem with the Youkuda Battle Cat or Sym, it is for the same reasons.
The Akaviri War Dog and Nord Battle Wolf mods do not have meshes or textures that need to be added to the game & they will work with only the esp placed into the Oblivion/Data Folder & checked in the start up Data Files before you click on Start. They are good companions but use the vanilla game meshes & textures so others are not required.
You are very welcome & thank you for letting me know that s/he is a good choice & making your game a more fun experience. The more choices the better, I think. ;-D
Just give him a try for awhile. He will surprise you. He is not just a fun pet or a joke, & you really need to try him to understand. Then you can see how he fits in best for your game.
I have been wanting a pet bunny! Maybe you could put the black one in a different locale, then I could have TWO . And a grey agouti (the natural color for rabbits) would be sweet in yet another location XD.
Seriously though, thank you so much for making this mod and sharing it with us.
Since you asked kindly & the mod seems to have several Endorsements, I have updated the black rabbit to play simultaneously with the white rabbit if you install both of them. They will both be in the same original location though.
When I made the grey version, there was a magical accident & Stomper is identical twins! If you activate one, or summon one, you will receive both. They are like clones & work together. If you use them with another color version, you will have 3 Battle Bunnies. You can also use them with both other colors & have 4 Battle Bunnies. It is overkill, but fun.
