Bunzi is a powerful magical companion, who has Stay & Follow commands, sneaks, is essential, will not turn on you, & has a Summon Spell. He will not run from a fight & will defend you until he goes unconscious. He purrs when idle & answers you when you command him. He follows closely watching for danger. Requires no other mods.

BattleBunnyV1Wht is a white rabbit named Bunzi, & can be played with all other versions.
BattleBunnyV2Blk is a black rabbit named Shadow, & can be played with all other versions.
BattleBunnyV3Gry, is twins, grey, named Stomper, & can be played with all other versions.

Description:

This is a stand alone companion mod very similar to Mojodajojo's brilliant mod "Companion Rabbit Fufu". This mod is constructed like the Akaviri Battle Cats to make the rabbit more robust (less likely to go unconscious) & more dangerous to your enemies. Warning, he can be addicting.

Bunzi (or Shadow or Stomper) is a powerful magical companion, who has Stay & Follow commands, sneaks, is essential, will not turn on you, & has a Summon Spell. He will not run from a fight & will defend you until he goes unconscious. He purrs when idle & answers you when you command him. He follows closely vigilantly watching for danger.

He will allow you to play roles such as bards, alchemists, archers, healers, & youngsters more easily. He can keep you from being mobbed & may even be all you need to survive without fighting (if you can run around evading fatal injury until he can dispatch all of your attackers).

He has self healing abilities, reflect damage (so he will be useful at higher levels), water breathing, resists Magic 50%, poison & disease resistance 100% (so that he is not permanently affected by some spells requiring a reinstall), & should be able to keep up with a mount. He follows you indoors unless you tell (toggle) him to "Wait" when you are both outside.

Bunzi (or Shadow or Stomper) can be found outside the IC Prison Sewer Exit. When you activate him, you will receive his summon spell & he will begin following you.

Requirements:

Oblivion with the Patch or the GOTY version. SI is not necessary.

IF you want the colour choices that Mojodajojo gave to Fufu, you can download that mod and add them to the white version one according to his directions. (IF you have the black version you will need to rename them to rabbit01black.nif for the new Mesh color & rabbit_black.dds for the texture color).

You can only follow his directions for color changes IF you are using the white rabbit Version.
Don't forget to Endorse his mod for giving us all of this.
You can, of course, change the mod to use the color of your choice in the CS but that is not as quick & easy.
You can change the colors on the other colour esps, IF you rename the files the same as the original ones, so the esp recognizes the file.

Compatibility:

There should be no incompatibilities unless the shore by the IC Sewer Exit is altered. If you use the IC Island Mod, temporarily uncheck that mod in the Loader Data File before you choose Play at the start of the game. Start the game with the Battle Bunny.esp checked, activate Bunzi 9or Shadow) & move him away form the area changed by the IC Island Mod, & save your game. Now you can Quit, recheck the IC Island Mod in the Data Files Launcher, & choose to load that Saved game. You will now have BOTH Bunzi (or Shadow or Stomper) & your IC ISland Mod.

INSTALL:

1. Extract the archive file into a folder. You should have a Read Me & a Data Folder with: BattleBunny(version & color).esp,and two folders, named
    Meshes  & Textures.

2. Copy the BattleBunny(version & color).esp into your Oblivion Data Folder.

3. Copy this mod's Meshes folder contents into your Oblivion Data folder's Meshes folder. The file rabbit01white.nif (or rabbit01black.nif) should have
    the address
    Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion\Data\Meshes\creatures\Rat\rabbit01white.nif (or rabbit01black.nif or rabbit0grey.nif).

4. Copy the creatures folder contents from this mod's Textures folder into the Oblivion Data Textures folder. The two files (rabbit_.dds &      
    rabbit_white.dds [or else rabbit_black.dds or rabbit_grey.dds]) should have the address,
    Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion\Data\Meshes\creatures\rabbit\bbit_.dds & rabbit_white.dds (or rabbit_black.dds or rabbit_grey.dds).

5. In The initial start up box, click Data Files and find the BattleBunny(version & colour).esp, check the blank box in front, & then click OK. Now you
    can click on Play.


Uninstall:

Make a Save Game without Bunzi (or Shadow or Stomper) loaded in that Cell.

Remove what you added above, unless it is a folder that contains another file not from this mod. Some other mods use folders of the same names.

Version History:

BattleBunnyV3Gry, is the same mod as the others except he is grey, & identical twins! They act together as one. They can run simultaneously with Versions 1 &/or 2, to give you 3 or 4 Battle Bunnies. When you summon Stomper, you will always get both of him. ;-)

BattleBunnyV2Blk, is the same black bunny mod, renamed to work well with the white bunny in case you want to use both simultaneously. Both his esp & name are changed. His name is now Shadow. He has a read Me that is specific to his contents. He will play with all other versions because his Summon Spell has a unique name & can be used with the others.

BattleBunnyV1Wht, is the same white bunny mod, with his esp renamed. He is still named Bunzi. IF you have the original version, there is no real reason to replace the old version, unless you want the esp to be renamed so that it is easier to tell that it is the white version. You can change the esp name yourself. He will play with both the Black & grey versions simultaneously.

Version 2.0 is the same as version 1.0, except Bunzi's color is black. It can play only with BattleBunnyV2Blk. Discontinued.

Version 1.0 is the initial white Battle Bunny, Bunzi. It can play only with BattleBunnyV2Blk. Discontinued.

Mojodajojo says we can use his blood splattered texture, & the ones he renamed from Mr. Siika's mod for easy color changing, if it is for non-profit.
