Not saying this mod is the cause, but with my setup this mod is causing crashes. When I save and then load for the first time, removing any article of clothing will cause CTD. Only when wearing one of the capes does it happen. Use with caution.
I did everything in the instructions on how to install the mod but why does when i use it the capes and cloaks are invisible and my 2 other mods(Evantal's Dual Wield mod and Explosives Mod) Their textures break.
You might need to double check that the plugin is activated.
If you're not using a mod manager, you can do it from the Data menu in the Oblivion Launcher. If you are using a mod manager, make sure to double check it there.
Also make sure you did the Archive Invalidation stuff. There's a few ways to do it pending on your setup, but the easiest way is probably this. If you use Wrye Bash to install mods, it will do it for you automatically. If you used Mod Organizer 2 or Vortex, you'll have to Google it, but it should be simple!
Let me know if that doesn't work, and I'll try to think of what else you can try.
I am not sure if it is the same reason, but a similar issue was reported for Hemingweys Capes....... User: Reznorms said here that the capes use the same armor slot as amulets, and so the capes appear invisible on some armors, because those armors have the "hide amulet" flag. Reznorms said the solution was "to make a bashed patch with Wrye Bash and check the "armor show amulets" and "clothes show amulets" options".
Problem is that for me for example capes / cloaks don't appear at all or kind of appear, but only mesh outline, no texture, no depth, no nothing. Nude body, just bought all the clothes to test and they don't work. Items are in game, but the rest... isn't. SkyBSA present, archive invalidation on, other replacers work properly.
This means problem is not only with amulet slot (body won't hide amulets, will it?) and something else. Testing shows it is not a problem with OCO, EGO, HGEC, Roberts bodies or DMRA replacers (they don't even contain cape-cloak items).
Those pictures are screenshots made by other users. So you should ask to the person who uploaded it. Probably some silly anime mod, check among that kind and you'll probably find it.
