    thanks for your endorsements, feedback and hints.
    from time to time I will add optimized textures.

    * Update * V 1.6 i added an OPTIONAL AWLS window package
    it is upscaled (dds only) and fine tuned for better res (e.g. sharper letters)

    I recommend to use my replacer with the additionally uploaded and opimized quarl-textures.
    I apprechiate your feedback and further advices if something seems not to be correct or forgotten

      i have awls omod 5553 installed. no patch necessary. both works perfectly together for me. maybe you shoud install my mod first and awls second.

    I like to try this but i was wondering if it might conflict with Cyrodill rebuild?

      just try it and let us know if it works. you can do that without risk if you follow my backup-instructions in my discription. better cathedrals is just a texture replacer so nothing serious could happen.

      It work good and even make the normal cathedrals look like the belong in Cyrodill Rebuild now

    Heads up xrayy. You forgot the r in Architecture folder. Not sure if this was changed in v1.1
    Am just about to compare your Cathedral set with a number of other Cathedral texture enhancers (BAIN structure is great for this)

      Good catch. It's the same in 1.1 and that's why BAIN didn't see any conflicts. The "cathedralwindow" files do conflict with Animated Window Lighting System, if you have it installed.

      i do not have this window lightning mod installed. so i need more information what problems occurred. what are the visible glitches ?

      AWLS uses different window textures and glow maps to appear lit at night from the outside (exterior windows only). The conflicting files are the cathedralwindow files 01 and 02 and their normals for each of The Nine. There's no real conflict if one doesn't mind the exterior windows becoming more colorful and lower resolution when lit at night. One might argue that that's actually pretty realistic.

      If you feel like it, you could publish an AWLS-compatible version (in addition to this version) that either removes those 36 textures, or that replaces them with higher resolution versions using the original colors. You can find "Animated Window Lighting System" here on Nexus if you want to compare them.

      I'm installing yours just the way it is. I think it looks wonderful. Thank you again!

      ok, so I understand this lightning mod problem is not a real conflict but more a special "nice to have" thing for awls-users. after installation of awls (if i do) i will check that.

    This will be my texture choice for cathedrals. Messed around this morning comparing and mixing this mod with Qarls TP3 cathedrals, Cathedral HD by amnes, Really textured normal maps & Cathedral improver Stained Glass. some of these mods work well together some not i.e adding RTNM for the windows.

    Will probably add the floors & roofs from Cathedral HD to your wonderful mod.
    Any chance of making your external windows compatible with Animated Window Lighting System? Would be great if you could.

    astrob0y has confirmed that the interior windows are compatible with Immersive interiors (Hell Yeah!)

    Added an image showing a few missing textures (I assume). Have noticed that no other cathedral texture replacer has touched these areas

      i do not have this problem. i think it is not a problem of missing but of wrong textures. maybe you have a problem with archive invalidation in combination with the missing 'r'?
      update: changed some meshes in V1.3 to use high res tex of the cathedral folder for steepletops

      It should be fine. This is a texture replacer and Immersive Interiors does most of its magic through its .esp. There's no texture conflict.

      EDIT: Just confirming that BAIN doesn't find any conflicts with the ton of mods I have installed.
