NOTES: #3.Lol i just looked up what a compendium actually is. Forget the name, please, it just sounds good.
#2.It would be nice if some people who have the time would give feedback if the new version works properly for their different setups.
#1.Order of the Dragon has its patches for the Unique landscapes. These are available on the link in the readme and description. Also, it seems to be perfectly compatible with Frostcrag Reborn,be it the Isolated or the De-isolated version.
Updates: -------------------- 2.0.0______NEW______ Alright, I finally got myself to finishing this, this new patch allows you to use more combinations of mods. I haven't tested many yet, but the most common ones should be covered. NO need for GtA ep 1, NO need for Frostcrag reborn, NO need for Fort akatosh redux. The new concept includes many new files, so you should use wyre bash (or OBMM) for installing only the ESPs you need. I also won't support NMM from this version anymore, as long as you can't see in which order mods were installed and such. Give it some time to develop, and, really, Wrye Bash IS worth it.
See the Readme Section for installation instructions, as I won't get to update the description soon.
1.1.0: I stumbled across Fort akatosh Redux, and as it's so awesome that I just HAD to use it, I took the opportunity and updated the Patch. Now it's required, but I can already see some optional files popping up...So much work to do... Now I also bought some guts and removed unnecessary masters which I originally left so stupid people don't have their game load with this patch if they don't use all the patch files. Now I trust that everyone takes care of this themselves. It was just too much of a hassle to work with it...ok, I removed the masters to work with it, and was just too plain lazy to re-add them.SORRY. Also, from now on, there won't be a readme or Distant LOD files in the download. Readme because its a huge waste, nobody reads them anyway, and most of it is in the description anyway. Also, everyone should probably generate the distant LOD files for themselves, as most people have other mods that change the landscape, anyway. If I included them in here, they would simply look out of place if you installed them.
Compatibility: --------------------- The Patch is PERFECTLY compatible with the EV of Order of the Dragon. Don't even know why I had to look.It just edits some cell landscapes...
Just a heads up, this is no longer being maintained. These patches have been revamped, updated and included in the UL patches compilation by Vorians. I recommend people to use that instead of this file.
If you're using Rathunas and its Midas patch, and/or HESU Skyrim Temple, do NOT use the Midas patch from here as well. Totally messes up the spot it's supposed to patch - tons of rocks, etc floating high up in the air over the Midas-added cave in the Jerall mountains. Disaster area around there. Took me a while to figure out, but when I got rid of this patch, things cleared up in that area.
Ok, so, a couple problems I noticed First off, you're going to need to rename the UL patched to remove the ULE prefix or which ever version you're using. Second, JMC - Layer 1.esp needs to be renamed to JMC -Layer 1.esp, that is, no space between - and L, in order to work with JMC - Layer 3.esp. This will mean layer 1 won't be recognized by BOSS and you'll have to manually place it.
Years later, I am finding the description really confusing. Is there a conflict between Frostcrag Village and Midas Magic that I should be worrying about?
There's a chance to see a combo between DLC Frostcrag, Frostcrag Village, Snowy Road to Bruma and UL Snowdale? There are floating rocks, irregular height and a couple of tear issues near the tower and village.
ahh...why do i Need to download all of the mods..i just have gates of aesgaard and midas maguc ...not saying what you did is bad but..i really dont want to download all of the files because my Internet is slow and it would take about a day to download all mods..could you please do a file for peolpe who only use These two mods...please...pretty please...(O)_(O) (cute eyes)
Huh, I'm not sure. I don't have that much time for modding at the moment as I'm addicted to MB:Warband right now and have advanced into college class level(it's like late american high-school).
But anyway, do you have any specific regions in mind? I'm not that good at making patches, you might consider asking at the One stop Patch shop Though mhahn13 is probably busy enough...
Puh, I'm not sure. I know there are TONS of mods for that region, but I can't remember any combination that dude have a patch. Actually, the only mod this thing here really fits in is the order of the dragon. I'll take a look which mods conflict there, but please don't expect much at this point.
UDPATE: Aaalright, I've looked at some mods and it seems the biggest Weye-located mods have been patched to work together. There is a big patch for the original versions here: http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/42718/?
Also, there's a new version to make them all more cooperating, which requires them all, and some of the patchesstill in alpha, though.) http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/43980/
And there is also a HUGE (of course, german) Weye quest mod which most likely conflicts with everything else. http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/41903/
Are the Original Patches of any Use or just a waste of time Looking at them. Order des Drachen Casual 1.0 Orden des Drachen patch Orden des Drachen Frostcraig Spire All Released in 2011 Patches for Frostcraig Reborn most 2009,,Frostcraig Reborn Village 2009,,Might and Magic for Frostcraig Reborn 2009
The first patch is used to make OoD accessible to 'casual' players. Enables map markers and such.
The second one....no idea. it's a patch, it patches something. The third one is for use with the ORIGINAL,ISOLATED version of Frostcrag reborn. The one which replaces the original DLCFrostcrag.esp . If You'Re using Frostcrag Reborn de-isolated, I believe you don't need it.
Are you using Frostcrag reborn (iso/de-iso)? frostcrag village? Might and Magic? I'm just not sure if these patches work with the 2013 version of OoD.
While I certainly appreciate the effort you are making in constructing these patches, your Version #'s don't make sense at all ... More concise descriptions, and better naming of the Patches themselves would also be beneficial ...
first of all, I agree it's kind of messy with these patches.I started this with the intention of simply releasing it after I made it for myself. I did not do this for anyone, I just thought it might be helpful to someone out there, so there it was. I never intended to make that many patches(though it's not much anyway). So there is a huge amount of mod combinations out there, and I thought that instead of making a patch for EVERY single combination, I'd rather put them all together and remove some mods for those who DON'T want to use one or two of them. I see there is a way to "simply" make 'layer'-like patches that override each other, but I don't believe I have the skill to do this.
Well, the point for the Version numbers is that I have no idea how to name them, as there can be countless possible combinations. If you have an idea on how to give proper version numbers, please care to elaborate.
At the moment, the main version of this mod page is the one of the patch with the MOST mods patched. apart from that, the x.y.z scheme means MajorVersion.minorVersion.BugfixVersion .
Also, the naming convention is JMC- NO/Only {Insert mod that is NOT/ONLY being patched.} So, the No MM version of JMC patches ALL mods of its Major/minor version except for the listed one. And the one with ONLY is a special request and patches OoD, Jerall Mountains and Midas Magic. I believe that is written in the small description, though...
So, what kind of "more concise" descriptions would be good? I understand that from my point of view, everything is well explained, but I might have left some details unwritten.
I think I was mainly confused by the fact that the No MM file still has Midas Magic listed as a pre-requisite file ...
I know where you are coming from in regards to getting bogged down with version #'s etc.
I used to be heavily involved in one of the Bigger S.T.A.L.K.E.R. mods out there ... and it used to be quite a task to keep 14gb worth of assets organized with regular updates, patches, and bug fixes ...
It seems like the Nexus sites are still focused on the "one mod page-one mod file" scheme. You cannot set individual requirements to be shown for each file, so it always shows ALL of them. I already thought about removing them, but I think with the mess here it would just be maleficial.

I use UL:Snowdale, OoD + and frostcrag Village. I use 1b.
I use UL:Jerall Glacier, OoD and fort akatosh redux. I should also add 4b.
Am I right? 1b + 4b.
In the chance I use midas magic, I should go for 1b +4a +4b. Right?
