Reports of this mod breaking quests involving giving a certain amount of items to an npc. Like the soul gems with vamparism cure quest for example... Any chance for a fix? I'd really like to run this
Still one of my favourite mods. Been using since 2015. Little to no issues. I had no problems with Amusei in the Pale Lady's cellar either. I really like the immersion of the trespass dialogue, as well as the the diseases and guard dialogue. I love being able to turn myself into the guards and have them react with dialogue. Can't imagine a playthrough without this. 9/10
FOR ALL THE PEOPLE HAVING DIFFICULTIES WITH TRESPASSING DIALOGUE: 1.Open the Ini Folder in the Data Folder 2.Open Dialog TFR Costs.ini 3.Set TrespassDialogRestore to 0
No need to rebuild bashed patch (it does not include ini changes). It's enough to anneal a mod (when you repack it to include the modified ini file of course). Cheers!
Ah, that thing. Tresspass dialog is fine, but rescuing dar-ma becomes impossible when she's complaining that i'm trespassing in the cave of her captors all the time. I disabled the global through xEdit, just to finish that quest, having completely forgotten by now that you could just do that through the ini! Though i think i'm gonna leave it disabled, who knows what other shenanigans i'll get stuck into if that option stays?
This mod is pretty old and apparently has some issues. If I were you (the person reading this) I'd probably consider this deprecated and replace it with a combination of: A newer mod by the same author - Migck's Miscellaneous Fixes, Tweaks, and Additions - which is customizable and has a module for idle dialogues, and which essentially supersedes the very old Idle Dialogues mod by Cliffworms. And then Expanded Greetings by Enter_77, which does pretty much what it says on the tin.
Between those two you'll have a fair amount of restored dialogue, and hopefully with fewer issues than this mod has.
EDIT: Ehhh I might have been off on this one, though as below there still might be an issue with disease dialogue.
I am really liking this mod, but there is one thing which bugs me. The NPC responses when your character has a disease. Is it normal that every single time they greet you, NPC tells you to visit the chapel and the guards keep shooing you away, like they do with beggars? I mean, it would be okay if some NPCs said these responses, some not. But all of them constantly telling you how repulsive you are? Not a major thing, but it can get annoying after a while. I haven't tested it myself but it could get even more annoying if your character is a vampire, because technically you have a disease.
NPC's just randomly use the disease dialogue as a hello despite the player not having any diseases. Checking the topic in TES4edit, this mod removed a condition that'd check if a player/npc was actually sick before saying it. So now they just say it to anyone
I just wanted to ask if your MOD is Compatible with MODS like " Oblivion Nouveau Uncut " version x of June 2020 and " More Generic Dialogue Restored " Version 2.2 of October 2019 ?......I am planning to use them all together with Lubron " AOG Overhaul plus Detect Item" MOD . These Mod seems to me Compatible with Load Order Sorting using BOSS.....But do they Require to be inserted into WyreBash patch or NOT ?
Look like to me that " AOG Overhaul plus detect item" should be last in Load Order but your Professional Opinion can help remove my Confusion, as I am New to Modding
As the creator of (the mod formerly known as) Oblivion Uncut, I can confirm this mod is compatible with my mod. Dialogue Tweaks and FIxes is a must-have in my playthroughs, and what it adds deliberately isn't covered by my mod so they work together :D
So I'm having an issue where if I have this mod enabled when resisting arrests, guards don't attack me after threatening me. They just frown and walk away.
I think just about all the changes here should have the option to be toggled on and off in the ini file. Some of them like bribing the guards and different thieves guild requirements change the gameplay when some like me are just here for the modified aesthetics.
you can actually do that they're all in the ini file. Open the Ini Folder in the Data Folder then.open Dialog TFR Costs.ini then tweak however you like.

1.Open the Ini Folder in the Data Folder
2.Open Dialog TFR Costs.ini
3.Set TrespassDialogRestore to 0
When I tweak a ini file, do I have to rebuild the Bashed Patch? or just Anneal the mod in question?
Thanks!
Thanks a lot, Carlos-san!!
