That's weird. Normally it indicates a script error which can come from unknown references. However, it worked fine while I tested it.
Can someone else confirm this?
Cheers
EDIT: Well I've recompiled the scripts. However I still wonder why it doesn't work for you since I got no problems :/ If that really fixed it then I am absolutely clueless of what the hell is going on XD
Omg... Thanks for pointing at this. I didn't believe anyone trying this mod without OBSE. If a script uses an OBSE command then it also shouldn't run properly when there is no OBSE.
Actually, the requirement in the description should be eye-catching enough ^^
@Doonsidewatchout So hopefully you try using this with OBSE. Install instructions come with the OBSE file
Probably recompiling the scripts was useless then :/
As far as I know this bug only appears in interiors...
I've never had it outdoors And it seems the original author of the other permanent fix which is mentioned in the description, also had the problem only indoors:
However, the "fix" is setting the fDecalLifetime to 0 as long as the player is in an interior. Same could be possible with outdoor blood stains so the setting would automatically switch to zero. No blood stains would appear anymore which means no flickering.
EDIT: However, I added another option. Still not a "fix" since it seems that the blood stains in Oblivion are "engine bugged". I also use a blood texture mod but still no luck with fixing the flickering properly. Still all I can do so far...
I read that the outdoor blood flickering might be due to the shaders in Detailed Terrain. If so, then your solution might be just what I need. Thank you!
Well I highly think that it will "fix" the problem since there are no blood stains anymore if the option is turned off ^^
The only blood you will see is the one which splashes out of an enemy which is hitten. Well at least you have your gory glory in interiors Still wondering why this problem appears outdoors for you and in interiors for me :/
