i have used some of your mods and they are great, but this one doesn't show up. I am using darnifiedUI, but am not sure if that is a problem.Theives den barter, PSO, Alchemy adjusments, they are all fine, with obse and fundament and menuque and addactorvalue. So, I got no idead why thise misc mod doesn't work for me. Fortunately it doesn't matter much, since this info isn't majorly important.
Sorry if this sounds like a completely moronic question but where is this misc. stats screen? Are we talking about the 'accomplishments' menu under 'stats'? I installed the mod with the OBSE plug-ins required but I cannot find one stat that this is supposed to display, does using DarnUI have anything to do with it? Any help would be appreciated, I've been playing Oblivion since release and I cannot find any menu with misc. stats anywhere, feel like an idiot to have to ask such a question but I'd really like to have this info available and currently I'm missing something. Thanks!
Thank you for getting back, I have AddActorValues installed in my obse/plugins folder but still no stats showing up in the menu. Least now I know I'm looking in the right place, I used BOSS to re-arrange my MOD loading order but maybe I need to place your MOD lower in my list. Have to get to bed for early work in the AM but will try when I get home. Thanks again for your quick response!
If you can't find anything there, I really don't know what could it be. Some people have reported that AddActorvalues doesn't work for them at all for some reason, but that's beyond my knowledge to solve. Interface mods are not a problem, the new stats should display fine no matter which other mods you use. And load order is irrelevant to this mod. Are you sure you're running the game with OBSE though?
I finally figured it out, I was following the instructions for the 4GB patch a little too much i guess and when it said to apply it to .exe and .dll's I applied it to all my OBSE plug-ins! Some had no problems but others when I checked my OBSE log I saw it said something about a problem loading and an error 5. I restored all my backed up dll's and presto your mod worked as advertised!! So sorry to have bothered you over my own stupidity! AND great mod BTW! Thanks again for your time and your mod!
It sounds highly interesting. I've often wondered about these things and how various elements affect my stats. Downloaded to see if it's what I think it is. I suppose that it *is* possible to present these checks in the form of status bars (with TheNiceOne's HUD Status Bars), too?
Damn, didn't think about HUD Status bars. It might provide a more elegant way of display than using the misc. stats screen, which for all its worth is kinda bare. Currently it would be difficult, but maybe not impossible. But I suppose I can alter the script to pass them to quest variables so that you don't need to go crazy with GetFormFromMod and such.
Ah, it would be sweet to have them as status bars instead. Your mod works fine as it is - even though I still need to learn how to read these bits of information. But having to open the misc. stats screen every time you change something is something I keep forgetting about, and after a while I don't really remember what may have changed these stats...
