Not sure if this was a problem in prior iterations, but in the 2019 update that was uploaded, this doesn't apply to all of the signs in Elsweyr. Having said that, it's a simple fix. Making copies of every texture and replacing 01 with 02 will bring all the sign meshes in line with these textures.
Just wanted to let you know that the Elsweyr main file has moved - it can now be found here: http://www.theassimilationlab.com/forums/files/file/862-elsweyr-the-desert-of-anequina/
The screenshots look great but I can't get them to show for some reason ingame, still have the old signs. I have all the usual suspects working like archive invalidation, and the files have been extracted to the correct path (I use wrye bash). I also have other texture updates working OK with this method (not necessarily for Elsweyr). Happy to take this offline into PM if anyone can help?
Sorry for the late reply (I really need to work out how to get email notifications).
I've had a look in-game, and discovered there are actually two sets of signs. The ones I've retextured are used throughout most of Elsweyr, but in northern Elsweyr (near Riverhold) there's a slightly darker set to blend in better with the grasses and woodland. When I get some spare time again I'll retexture the second set too
Hopefully, if you head into central Elsweyr, you'll find the retextured signs working correctly.
Finally got a chance to check this out. The signs are great - very realistic. The text, though... it looks too neat, almost like Arial font. Still, endorsed - I look forward to seeing more of your work.
The font is Aquifer, and heavily hand edited of course. I was looking for a font that conveyed signs of wear and tear, but not at the expense of readability (game play has to come first, and I don't want players squinting to read =P). If I ever create more signs, I'll bear this in mind though and try to dial back a little more on the text clarity =)
--Note to self: Elsweyr: The Deserts of Anequina mod actually found. Must get back into oblivion.
In all seriousness, I missed the awesome EoA mod, and I struggled a few months ago to find a proper version of it. Thank you for the link, and if I do get back into oblivion, I will definitely give your mod a try. The signs look really nice, so good job.
On another note, when I have tried to get Under the Sign of the Dragon to work in the past, it just plain hasn't. If it doesn't work again, could I trust you for some help? Thanks.

Edit: nevermind, it's gone.
