The mod is good. Very good indeed. No need to throw such definitive statements before you actually confirm if the problem is not on your side. First of all make sure you go to Main Menu -> Options -> Video and check if your Texture Size is set to Large. If not, it should be. This is the most common cause of the problem you're describing.
