Oblivion rough install guide
Updating a retextured Anvil and Bruma with Immersive Interiors.
As always, before installing anything, make sure you have back ups of all the files about to be overwritten.
Before anything else I've found updates for my Improved and Unique signs so I've uninstalled it and rebuild it by taking Mikal33's Improved Signs as master, add to its textures folder Varacolaci's Real Wood Road Signs and monkeyangie's Illuminated Signs - Road and Inns Signs after which I added all textures from Khavaz' Unique Signs that were not replaced by monkeyangie's Illuminated Signs.
I want to test the improvements I made in my earlier vid in Anvil and Bruma but before going there I rebuild these places to make them more interesting.
Starting in Bruma, I use Lougian's Bruma retexture and Betty's Tibetanized Bruma Buildings to give this town another look and Yuril and Drahenne's Snowy Road To Bruma for some initial landscaping.
In Anvil I first install Ossastorium's More Trees In Anvil 2 followed by Amirun's Anvil Building Retextures, RGM's Anvil Morning Glory and Muddy's Anvil Beach Retexture. To "finish" these town scapes I used Brumbek's Ambient Town Sounds Edited with betty's Red Brick Walls, Asian conversion and Aurora in motion :)
Then, because the "improvements" I want to check are almost all in doors, I also installed SomeWelshGuy's Immersive Interiors and Gruftikus' Immersive Interiors Landscape AddOn and - while at it - T3alrose's Innkeepers and porters stop staring.
Last - but not least :) - I install my own SanBackUp mod which I made long ago for exactly this situation: a new player without any means but also with a lot to do.
The SanBackUp is a small mod with only an esp file which depends on resources of other mods, in this case marcos armengol's Samurai V4 and V5 and Cethegus' Utility Belt - Backpack - Canteen - Sack but this last mod has been removed from the Nexus site so there is a problem here. In the starter barrel is a backpack you can not use without Cethegus' resources and I have no idea when - if ever - these are available again, luckily I had a backup of the backpack so - at least - I can show Cethegus' work as intended in action. Since I only need the resources I make a new folder containing all these with the SanBackUp.esp and make this into the OMOD I'm gonna use.
After my install with OBMM it's BOSS again where I get a message that there are some esp files BOSS does not recognize and thus has placed at the bottom of the load order so I use the BOSS editor to make a USER list in which I tell BOSS what to do. With the load order now fine, it's Wrye Bash, TES4LODGen and TES4ll again before I have a look at it in game ...
