I have no idea what I did wrong. The towns do not overlap, so this mod seems to be working, but... the sacred oak settlement still has it's wooden palisade, unlike your "Together after patching" image and there is a minor tear in the terrain between them.
edit:oh, just re-red the other comments, the palisade is missing in your image because of LOD issues. So I am just confused by the tear in the terrain.
edit2: never-mind, WryeBash merged the patch into it's BashPatch, and failed to write the BasedPatch. Got that fixed and terrain tear is gone.
Glad you sorted it out. And yes the palisade fencing never had any visible when distant components created. So zooming out for screenshots makes it disappear.
It works, but yeah it's a little complicated for people to follow I think. Can't remember why I needed to use a replacer esp for sacred Oak, but there was something funky that I didn't know how to work around at that time.
Anyway these are the steps. Install and activate the original mod. Overwrite the original .esp with the replacer I've provided. Install patch and make sure load order is correct using BOSS or following read-me instructions.
I've been thinking about redoing this patch also. Looking back on things I should have moved it further away from Urasek.
I can't tell from the images if you still kept the palisades or not. Did you remove entirely or make a adjustment to them to maintain a logical sense of placement since there is two villages merged now.
Everything that was originally in both mods is still there. You can't see the palisades in most pics because there are no VWD meshes included in the mod for those. So when you zoom out to take pics they disappear. But they are still there. All I've done is separated the two settlements.
You need the original Sacred Oak .esp installed, use the replacer to overwrite it, then the compatibility patch. Had to be done that way for various reasons.
alright started giving this patch and the two mods a spin. Sacred oak looks great though there is some weird land tears and half sunken buildings in Urasek. nothing inaccessible as far as i can tell but it is pretty noticeable.
Great mod, I only used Urasek but after stumbling upon your mods I decided to try it with Sacred Oak as well and not only does it work seamlessly but it makes a big difference, this mod should be more endorsed!
Thank you mhahn, it seems you are still very much active so please continue to do mods like these
Well not as active as I would like to be. Real life work seems to encroach upon my free time more and more. But I do keep plugging along with my hobbies whenever time permits. Thanks for the comment!
@ dreamed1: You are welcome, glad some have found it useful. And yes I keep telling myself to go back and add direct links on all my mods, but seems like there is never enough time. I will get to it though.

check boss if correctly setted, yes this village should go far way, maibe it will be better near villerin. The north shore is depopulated.
