I can confirm that "See You Sleep" has an issue with the quest "Through A Nightmare, Darkly". I suspect it's stuck in a loop trying to re-equip items temporarily removed by the quest, which results in endlessly repeating equip/unequip sounds. I resolved the issue by disabling the mod during the quest and re-enabling it after the quest.
Other than that, I've had no problems. It's a fun mod for immersion, very well done.
I don't have the same issue during the quest but with my setup, the quest just never starts. The player character doesn't go to the dreamworld when sleeping.
My only issue with this mod is that my character clips into the bed quite a bit. My character is a female bosmer with a height set at .90 (I like being short). Even so, setting my character to the standard 1.0 still results in clipping.
Perhaps some sort of patch that lets you set the height off of the bed may help, as It would prevent clipping. This could also be implemented by checking the player height value and setting the height accordingly.
Edit: I figured it out. The height the game uses for sleep animations is determined by your player's race's height. The same applies to first person height. In this game, changing your player height with commands instead of changing the race's height causes issues. In my case, changing the bosmer female height to my desired height (which will also affect NPCs, worked for me.
Long story short, this is not a problem with the mod. Thanks for refreshing it. ♥
This mod permenantly bugged my current character. Occasionally, not always, my character will undress completely before going to bed then never reequips any items when getting up. The sleep configuration thing doesn't work. Ive tried 1) Dressing in armor, clicking it, getting it bed, nothing happens. 2) Dressing in clothes, clicking it, getting in bed, nothing happens. 3) Tried doing nothing, clicking it, nothing happens when getting in bed 4) Tried dressing in clothes, NOT clicking it, getting in bed, nothing happens. Nothing bloody happens ever APART from the random occasion when going to bed undresses me completely. Clicking the sleepwear configure thing does nothing, it never SETS my sleepwear no matter in which orientation I dress and click the configure sleepwear thing. On top of all of that, even if I uninstall this mod, every time I load any savegame which had this mod loaded ad some point, my character will load up undressed and barehanded. Even after uninstalling the mod and making a save while dressed.
Wrye Bash, itself, has this to report about the plugin (via the "Check Plugins" button in a top left drop-down menu): === HITMEs The following plugins have HITMEs (__H__igher __I__ndex __T__han __M__asterlist __E__ntries), which most commonly occur when the Construction Set or an advanced mode of TES4Edit were used to improperly remove a master. The behavior of these plugins is undefined and may lead to them not working correctly or causing CTDs. Such a plugin is usually beyond saving and mod authors should revert to a backup from before the plugin was corrupted. The safest course of action for a user is to uninstall it. * See You Sleep DLL - DLCVileLair.esp: 4 HITMEs Considering the nature of the OBSE version of this mod anyway though, I don't understand why this plugin was even deemed necessary(?) But I realize the mod author probably isn't an active member anymore (they last logged on two years ago, at the time of writing this), so I'm leaving this here in case another experienced mod author is interested in redoing this plugin or some such (and to warn those of you about it who may be concerned by its message).
The plugin checker of WryBash says that his mod is corrupted and can cause problems, and it also says that this mod can not be fixed, so i recommend NOT install it, its not worth the issues
Only the Vile Lair patch has this issue. According to Wrye Bash and Tes4Edit, it contains "Higher than Master" records. It is difficult to find information about this specific issue, but as far as i understand it, some records in this plugin have a higher FormID than they should, which usually happens if master files are deleted from the plugin in an improper way. I can only guess, but to me it looks like the plugin was created with the Unofficial Patch for Vile Lair active, because the cell record matches the changes from the unofficial patch.
I opened the file in the Construction set with the Unofficial Patch also active, then I saved it again, which appears to have resolved the issue, at least there is no error reported any more. However, to be sure I will have to check ingame if it works correctly, though I currently don't have a character who has access to it. All it does is change the coffin position to work with this mod.
Is this mod still supported? I'm using x117 race and so during the sleep animation my character is drowning in textures due to being short, is there a way to raise the character animation? Maybe there is some kind of fix?
Old mod, i know, but i'm having an oddball issue where it unequips any weapons the player has during the sleep sequence, and never equips it again when the player gets up and changes back to the normally equipped loadout.
Worth mentioning that this feature worked fine with the other variant of this mod, though it's not worth the funny little issues that variant brings to the table just because i have to press a hotkey (to re-equip the one sword i use) every time i get up now.
I'm really confused by this mod. I tried it out, didn't like it (mainly due to the lacking camera rotation), and then uninstalled it. But now even though all of the files are deleted (I'm using MO2, so it's really easy to delete them), my character still gets into the bed rather than just bringing up the rest menu. Is this something that will be fixed with a fresh save, or is my game just f***ed now?
Edit: Nevermind. Apparently Oblivion Reloaded does this... for... some reason.
When I try to run the mod in OBMM it says I need script extender v.20 or better and I do, this is the only mod I'm having this issue with. I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. If anyone is still on this page please help.
Do you use 0021? If not there is a direct download here: http://obse.silverlock.org/download/obse_0021.zip There is allways some issues with SYS. Not primarily caused by SYS alone, but other mods conflicting with a deilcate mod. You should take a tour here on the Posts Section and in the Forums:-) Good Luck! Oblivion is a fabulous game though! Old comment, but you're correct. I also tried to use this mod the current version of OBSE and it still says that I don't have it. All other mods that require OBSE work fine though.
