I often play a mage character, and the low-resolution vanilla staves were annoying me. These textures affect all three generic colorations of standard mage staves. In other words, it will affect most staves in the game.

I often play a mage character, and the low-resolution vanilla staves were annoying me. I made this texture quickly. It should affect all three generic colorations of standard mage staves. In other words, it will affect most staves in the game. Just like the vanilla textures, I have included three tint variations.
Vanilla resolution is 256x512, while the new resolution is 1024x2048. This means that the textures are "four times" as large, but actually have sixteen times the number of pixels for exponentially greater detail. Hey, it's 2012. We can't mod Oblivion conservatively and expect the graphics to stay up-to-date. :)
I've now added an "eight times" resolution texture set. This is as high of a resolution as it's plausible to put on an object like that. No matter how close you get, it still looks pristine at a resolution of 2048x4096 on such a small object.
