National Museum of Cyrodiil v1.0

THIS IS BETA! If you find problems, please notify me & I'll try & fix them.

I created this mod for my own use originally and it is my first mod. I'm rather anal about organizing my loot & none of the other house/museum mods seemed
to work for me. This mod is very, very large with areas specific to everything from magic, flora, daedra, vampires, dwemer, dragons & more. Many
of these rooms & sub rooms were created for specific mods, those are listed as "highly recommended" below. The recommended mods are ones I have
installed and which have added at least some content to my museum.

I created NO meshes or recolors for this mod. I only imported resources from others. I have attempted to give everyone credit below. If I missed
someone, please let me know.

IF YOU USE A MOD THAT DISABLES THE 'FAKE LIGHTS' THIS MOD WILL BE NEARLY PITCH BLACK. I use some 'real' lights but a lot of fake ones too (museums
should be well lit even it if isn't lore specific lighting)

*****************

INSTALL:

Place the .esp & .bsa in your Data directory. Open your launcher & put a check by "TxG_NationalMuseum".

UNINSTALL:

Remove TxG_NationalMuseum.esp & TxG_NationalMuseum.bsa

*****************

LOCATION:

The National Museum can be found inside Arborwatch, the home you purchase in Chorrol. Why inside Arborwatch? Because it seemed safe &, in my
twisted little head I've decided my character is going to donate the house to Cyrodiil to be used as a museum. So there. :) Why Chorrol? Because the
Adventurer's Store that comes with the Trade & Commerce mod is in Chorrol so it's convenient to drop of at one then run to the other.

MANNEQUINS:

This mod comes with NO MANNEQUINS! Why? Because there is a limit of 256 mannequins in the game, regardless of who made them or
which mod (or combination of mods) they come from. As you may not wish to install all the mods I do, and/or you have mannequins already in the game,
this could cause problems. The biggest known problem I read about in the forums deals with items disappearing from the mannequins.

If you download the recommended mannequin mod, some user's have an easily solved problem. After you place the mannequin you must JUMP. If you do
not jump you will not be able to select ANYTHING. So just jump after each placement!

ADDITONAL ITEMS FOUND IN GAME & NOTES ABOUT ROOMS / ROOM FEATURES

I added a whole variety of crystal balls that are various gemstones rather than clear, a bunch of new gems in rough, polished & cut
forms, an ayleid alchemy set, several new alchemy ingredients, decorative items, & some of the armors/weapons I didn't have in my game from the CUO.
I did NOT MAKE ANY OF THESE ITEMS. I added them from resource packs. They are available for *purchase* at stores throughout Cyrodiil.
Several are in the IC, additionally Bruma, Bravil, Anvil & Skingrad shop(s) also have items. Do not email me asking where something is, check
all the shops, there aren't that many (be sure the check the lesser used shops)!

In the IC bookstore you can purchase a "replica" of the Elder Scroll you steal (Theive's Guild). It is independent of the quest item
so it cannot be used for the quest nor will it "stick" in your inventory permenantly. There is only one & it will not reappear.

In the Guilded Carafe you can purchase "False Unicorn Horn." It is the same as you get during the Hercine quest except it is a seperate item
so it cannot be used for the quest. Buy as many as you like.

Spread throughout the alchemy/magical type shops are new alchemy ingredients as well as some decorative magical items. You will also find
three new hourglass & scale sets.

In the Magical Items Museum & the Museum of Deadly Arts (main room), you will find welkend stands placed close to each other. In my game I have
these awesome animated staffs that partially sink to any normal display. Therefore I carefully balance them on the welkend stands. You will also
find large tree trunks placed vertically throughout several museums. This is additional staff display area - for things like the goblin staffs & other
larger staffs or staffs with animated tops (but not bottoms). There are a few of those for sale in various shops but most of mine came from
who-knows-what-mod.

The Vault was created after I installed two bank mods (or rather, when two bank mods appeared w/other mods). Being the head of the theive's guild,
I couldn't let a bank vault go unrobbed so my vault holds the stacks of gold bars, paper money, etc.

You will find that many bookcases have rows of books already on them. While I have become very proficient at placing items, I find books to be
tedious. Therefore all those rows of books are safe storage containers that you can sort your books into. Each museum room has its own row(s)
so you can sort to your heart's delight or just dump them all in one place.

There are storage containers throughout the main entry way. Sometimes I too lazy to place items right away so I sort them into the containers by
their doors for later placement. There is also a wall chest by the "desk" in the entry for your overabundance of keys.

The Glass Armory: I love glass armor! I have downloaded nearly every glass set that I can find. Sadly not all of them come with a full compliment
of weapons. I downloaded a few glass weapon mods but at least one didn't work (at least not until I fixed it -ie the Blue Glass Weapons mod)
If you hate glass armor use the room as you wish of course!

The Shield Armory: I love displaying my sheilds upright in those cases but too often they'd slip when I re-entered the room. Therefore I added
a recolored fencepost (new ID number) on its side to prevent sheilds from sliding. :)

Most rooms have "basements." Why? In my game I occassionally have items fall through the floor. I discovered by accident that if you have
a floor underneath the item will eventually land on it. This process may be immediate or may take several real-world days. If you don't have this
problem then you have a *ton* of extra space to use. :)

ALL STORAGE CHESTS ARE SAFE. They are usually named "Museum Storage" or have a name other than the usual name for the storage container so there is
not doubt about its safety.
