The mod prompts me to turn the mod off, load the game, save without autorun enabled, then load the mod in and load my save. I do this, doesn't work. I try it again, then I try completely uninstalling the mod and doing the same thing without the mod installed. Still prompts me to do what I've done several times. So yet another case of a "modder" that doesn't know what s/he's doing.
Nice idea for a mod. Definitely needed in Oblivion to make it more immersive. However, I am finding that there is a spell effect that accompanies my running now. The characters limbs turn frosty and there is a trailing cloud as if a spell has been cast every time I run.
Did you have auto run on before you installed this mod? If so you need to uninstall the mod and disable auto run (Caps Lock) and then save and then load the mod up.
Well no offence meant to the obviously talented mod creator, but there are other mods out there that do this. I personally am currently using Sneaking Detection Recalibrated, which has this bundled in, and if I ever stop using that mod I would be more or less gauranteed to download this to replace SDR, as I can't imagine NOT sprinting.
So it is not that this is a bad idea, it is just that the poor modder was unlucky enough to not be noticed due to other mods. (This happens a lot on this site sometimes, talented people end up underappreciated.)
To the author, don't give up! Make this stand out more and you will be gauranteed a spot in the limelight!
