This is brilliant! Could you update it with the latest components for Blender 2.49b? While I'm writing they should be the following:

    - Python 2.6.6
    - Pyffi 2.1.11
    - NIFscripts 2.5.8

A self extracting archive for this could also come in handy.

Works great, having all this portable is invaluable, thank you so much!

fool14045: it is called Netimmerse/Gamebryo in the list of importable formats. If you try to import Skyrim files with it, it will fail.

The following info might be useful to others:
Here is a tutorial explaining the tricks required to work with skyrim files http://skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=3790
To use this you need the newest blender nif scripts (2.5.0, it would be cool to see this download updated. meanwhile you can get them here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/niftools/files/blender_nif_scripts/2.5.x/2.5.08/ use the zip version and extract it into this directory of the portable blender: .../X-Blender_2.49b_rev8/Bin/Blender/.blender/scripts/

Anyway, thanks Hashmi for packing it all together, great job!

It dosnt seem to work in my computer. Im using windows7 32 bit. I cant import/export any nif file, error message appeare when i try to open one. Actually there is no nif list in export/import tap. Its just like plain blender without nif script. Do i have to install everything manually. I want to use this portable version. If anyone can help me!?

    Ok, I've updated the description.

Blender version is 2.49b (the latest version which can run NIFscripts)

    Python is 2.6.2

PYFFI is 2.1.9 --- though now I've also uploaded a version with 2.1.10 (latest as of this date)

Nifscripts is 2.5.07 (latest as of this date)
