So, I'm actually having the reverse of this issue, that enemies in the shivering isles keep summoning butterfly to attack me ^^; I wonder if those spell effects got swapped somehow.
This is a really cool Mod, my only issue with it is that its way too HARD! I'm a level 8 and I decided that I wanted a horse and to have it be really cool, so I downloaded this mod expecting to be able to just buy the spell to summon the horse or something, but NOOOO!!! It is a huge goose chase where every location is near impossible to do without cheating, It is clearly not meant for lower level characters to complete, I just wish it was a bit easier to complete!
Will someone please just post the location of the ruins, I bought the scroll and it's blank. Little bummed honestly and doubt anyone will respond to this.
In case you were still wondering, I've figured out how to fix the problem. Download the files manually, both the update and the original. Go into the contents of the original file and extract the texture and mesh folders to your oblivion data directory. Then open the contents of the update file and extract the .esp and readme to the directory. After that it should work, since the things were missing because the textures and meshes folders were missing from the update file.
I've edited your Demonic Mounts for my own use. I don't like tatoos on horses' bodies and heads, so I made no-tatoo versions of Butterfly, Wildfire, Shadow and Evil. It's a simple recombination of horse models from Slof's Horses Base, Slof's Extra Horses and your models with minor texture changes (added glow map to eyes for all horses and to Wildfire's mane and tail, edited normal maps for eyes). I also made higher magicka cost for summon spells - these horses are very strong, so I think they shouldn't be summoned too easily.
Can I have your permission to upload this (ESP and textures only - your original mod and Slof's mods will be reqired) for other users ?
Very nice work ! I like Wildfire the most. The mod works well for me, i used BOSS to arrange the load order. But theres a bug with the saddle of Wildfire. Maybe other saddles have the same problem, i did not tested them. After conjuring the horse, all is ok. When i sit on it, the horse changes size, my race has only 0.74 as scale. But the saddle does not shrink and is floating over the horse. It is not rigged. Maybe this is not a problem with 1.00 scaled character (standard). Greetings xyzman
