Not sure why, because the Golden Elven Armour mod looks fantastic, but all of these weapons are coal black from one end to the other. The surface bump map texture is visible, but the only colour anywhere on all of these weapons is flat black, every single one of them and the scabbards for those weapons that have them. Does the colour only work with Bloom turned on? I'm using HDR, and I'm not likely to change for one weapon mod when I've never seen any other mod go coal black like this. All textures are installed in C: \ Program Files \ Bethesda Softworks \ Oblivion \ data \ textures \ weapons \ elven \ (without the spaces obviously), and all lines were copied and pasted to ArchiveInvalidation.txt from the readme as instructed. I have other texture replacers (grass, stone, ice) that don't require an esp, and they are all working as expected.
[EDIT] Using ArchiveInvalidation.txt as instructed results in the coal black appearance. Allowing OBMM to use BSA redirection results in the vanilla textures being visible. NOT using BSA redirection and removing the entries for this mod from ArchiveInvalisation.txt results in the vanilla textures. There doesn't seem to be any way to get these textures to work, and I have no way to view the DDS files to see if there is anything there, so I'm removing the mod.
you know, i know it's just a retex, and i know the gold was probably greenish in the first place because elves would want to blend in with the surrounding foliage (perhaps. or someone just has weird taste.), but since this so vastly improves my desire to actually USE elvish weapons and armor instead of just selling them off--kudos!
