LOL @ People downloading and endorsing almost 5 years old low res blood texture. Srsly you guys should look around, there are plenty of newer and better looking mods available like Better Blood and Better Oblivion Blood and you can use Bloody Spray to customize them both to give even larger effects. Check them out.
I literally use a combination of 4 blood mods, including this one.
I use Data\Textures\Effects\Blood01.dds, Data\Textures\Effects\Blood02.dds, and Data\Textures\Effects\Blood03.dds from this mod. I use decals and statics from Better Blood. I use a file or two from Better Oblivion Blood, and the middle mesh from Bloody Spray. I've also made a few personal adjustments so that blood doesn't look pink on escaping deer when HDR is enabled.
Which I think was what you are trying to communicate. But there is nothing wrong with this mod at all. Especially if you play on an older or non-gaming computer. I used this blood mod in its entirety for years. But I do agree with trying different combinations to customize your own. I highly recommend Bloody Spray, especially with the effects textures I list above, which don't need to be 1024x.
hey love this mod but the flickering is way out of control, its always flickering when there is enough blood on my sword or on the sword of my opponent. Sometimes its less flickering sometimes more, but its always and everywhere there and not only in caves.

Gorier Blood is better than them.
