Kudos for the tips Shayaryn tried both suggestions this weekend and ended up making a custom race for the UFF body and adding a bunch of other UFF stuff to round it out. If you hadn't have mentioned it though the thing about the skin material and custom race probably wouldn't have clicked, so thanks again for that
Thanks for the tips, I've tried assigning the UFF texture with nifskope before, but I didn't change the material from 'skin', that must have been where I went wrong, and I don't know why I didn't think of creating a custom race earlier either, thanks for this, now with a bit of fiddling I can try out the swimsuits ^_^
valks666: Thanks. Actually, with Nifskope it's possible to force different textures onto a mesh, so you can use any outfit with any texture. I've done this before with HGEC outfits; if you download a UFF texture from somewhere, open the mesh with Nifskope, and assign the UFF texture to the body. Rename the material from skin to something else, save the file, and you'll be able to use it with no texture oddities. The color might not match your character's skin, though, but that's not hard to fix with Photoshop or Gimp. You could also make a race that uses the FF texture, and when a character using that race wears anything made for FF, it'll display properly, and it won't affect any other characters.
SilverNirvash: You can find it here on Nexus, if you search for x117.
uhm is there any way you could provide a link to getting the lop-eared elf by chance? shes a really cute elf and i'd like to try her out in my own game ^^
Just wanted to say awesome screenshots, they are so clear and crisp, races look like nothing I've seen on the nexus, and your UFF version actually look lusher than the original HGEC versions, pity I can't use UFF and HGEC textures at the same time or I'd be all over this mod. Good work!
One is a lop-eared elf, two are modified white tabaxis, one is an Aquamer, and the other two are custom races made by a friend of mine for her characters.
