Curious as to the animation playing on the horse in the first screenie. If its from vanilla Oblivion, I haven't seen it, and since I love horses, I would be very excited to hear about any mods that add animations for the horses.
That is in fact a vanilla animation. If you just watch your horse for awhile he/she will do it and a few others as well.
A mod I really like is LadyDeadlocks - Love Your Horse - every now and then the player character will lean forward and pat the horse while riding. http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/13892/? It is also a vanilla animation but honestly I've never seen it except with this mod installed.
I don't know of any others, but I haven't really looked for animations.
To follow up on the post below: I took Jessie with me to raid a vampire dungeon, telling her to stay near the entrance. But sometime later she showed up, and shortly after that I heard sounds of fighting. I rushed around a corner to help, and at the end of the battle--during which, unlike usual, I was not killed--I found we had defeated a Vampire Patriarch <em>and</em> a Vampire Matriarch. This seems incredible--Jessie fought them by herself for a while, too, and survived. I had no idea the dogs were fighters. (They aren't overpowered, are they? :-)
I'm a newcomer to Oblivion; this is the first "abode" I tried to download. It's charming and I like it very much--and I didn't expect a free horse and good sword. Very nice for a tired Bosmer who wants a simple resting place!
(I wonder if there should be a ladder in the basement leading up to the trap door--it did take me a while to figure out how to leave the basement. :-)
This looks very good! Back in the old Oblivion days mods like this were more appreciated. Now it seems that people seek already high rated mods. Anyway, great job there! I'll give this one a try and probably endorse later.
I downloaded this when I first started back Nov10. It has been my favorite house mod. I love Gallant, Jessie, and Dixie, as well as the house and location. Thank you.
