I don't know if anyone is still doing anything with this mod but I'm having some issues. I installed this mod and when it's active all the eyes in the game are black and when I uninstall it all of the eyes are invisible and you can see through everyone's head. I'm not so much complaining about the mod as I am asking if anyone knows how to fix this. I really am in over my head here.
If anyone could point out a way to get specular highlighting in oblivion, I'd be grateful. I don't see how to get realistic lips and such any other way.
Hmm... downloading the file, the textures are at 1024x0124, which is indeed higher res than default, but could be higher. Most custom races these days have a resolution of 2048x2048, which allows finer details like eyebrows to show up a lot better.
Maybe you could ask one of the custom race modders around here for a quick breakdown on eyebrows? I think the lineage elves have really nice brows. Just a thought.
I can't get eyebrows to look good, no matter how good the texture. I even tried copy pasting from other game textures and they still appeared crap in the game.
