So I installed everything correctly, and the mod worked well for quite a while. Today, as I loaded my save, the beam animation doesn't play out, nor there seems to be any damage. My character still does the pose, but nothing comes from it.
I had to tweak the script on my end cause the animation wasnt working in first person. Probably an issue with the enhanced first person mod i m using. The togglefirstperson command did the trick and now my animation work flawlessly in first person.
Using ElsMorevoice mod, i also added a playsound command at the beginning of the animation (castself) and another one when the PC swing his/her sword(powerattack). This make the mod even more enjoyable
For the Omake, I used the CS to add enchantments to the scabard and sword, but wondered if using the ingame normal process (sigil stone or enchant altar) would break the script ? Need to edit the script so the enchanted sword isnt completely repaired and recharged (replaced by a brand new one) each time it s sheated. I wonder if, as it is now, the script isnt prone to speed up the bloating of the savegame since it create a new sword and scabard each time you sheat/unsheat it.
I know the answer is late, but for any other person here who wants to know... the Killing Moon does not affect friendly citizens at all. So it is not possible to rain down mayhem and destruction on NPCs in factions which are friendly towards your own faction. Hit a few of them with your weapon first to make them turn hostile, THEN use the killing moon.
Think about it: if the killing moon would hurt harmless NPCs every single time you used it, you would be running from angry mobs all the time, since it is an AOE attack.
Causes no damage so far as I've seen. In fact, my target'll greet me saying "Well met" after I use this on them but now while sparkling from the attack.

It's somehow caused by this mod (I disabled the .esp and the ship became normal once more).
