Even though i decided not to keep this one, it's still a very nice house and mini-quest with a nice location, tons of beds for companions and more storage than what most people will ever need.
Great Mod, well placed and very interesting. The only question I have is where is the snasafrassin' basement key? I read the journal and inspected all the statues. I don't want to cheat and it's not in the jewelry chest (I checked).
It once did have a long story behind it, but I lost the text file in a USB key crash (yeah they can crash in there own ways)
I really do need to take more pictures of the interior. Its on my to-do list, but since I have 6 other mods I'm currently working on its not priority right now.

Ok here's what I think: It looks great from the outside, on the water with a nice view of the Imperial City. As soon as I went inside I thought 'uh-oh, blackwood barracks', but after exploring and checking the place out from top to bottom I think you've done a great job here. It's nice and big, spacious with a lot of possibilities and it seems to be companion friendly.
I like the fact that it doesn't come with furniture or upgrades because it gives me a chance to use the 'Imperial Store' or 'Imperial Store Renovated' mods and maybe even the 'Furniture Rearranger' mod.
The stable and the Pirate ship are a great added bonus. I think, with a little more story behind it and maybe a more detailed quest, this could become one of the top house mods.
Oh, and people who don't download because there are no pictures really do miss out on some of the better mods this community has to offer... not the best attitude to have towards life, either.

Glad that you like it. And thank you for not spoiling where the key is... But I do have to say that I don't even remember where the key is XD
The "quest" was actually a lot more in depth but I removed a lot due to content of it, which I won't mention.
