I'm using the armored Imperial Legion horses and its awesome. Unfortunately Shadowmere is not compatible with the Horse Armor DLC, as she will revert to her original character model if you armor her. I created a patch in TES4Edit that uses all the Zira Shadowmere meshes (minus the cloth and saddle) alongside the steel and elven meshes. It mostly works, but there is some clipping that makes it look a little ugly. I don't know how to resize the steel meshes to fit her modded body, so I guess I'm stuck with this.
Sorry for the wait! I have released the patch! Also, since I created this original post, I have learned how to use Blender, so I reshaped the horse armor to Zira's Shadowmere model.
anyone know why a random horse named sly fox showed up at my stable? XD im using this mod and stable master and foals of oblivion? it just randomly showed up in my herd lol
Nice mod, but I spawned in Shadowmere and it's just a purple head and saddle, any suggestions?

The two modpart, that the legion horses modified, not compatible with each other.
It is allowed to use one for one only.
what does this mean? Which mods? armed and heavy legion?
If you used Nexus Mod Manager it may not have had the correct file path and may require a manual install or OBMM to install it.
If you used OBMM/TES Mod Manager you may need to run archive invalidation.
