Ah, but that's the beauty of it..if you feel like playing through a full Oblivion Realm you can!

Want to speed it up a bit? Teleport to the door of the Citadel, enter and fight your way up.

Just want to finish it and get on with your current quest? Use both spells and you're done sooner.

    Woot for choices!

    BTW, what are Runeskulls?

Yes, but miss out on obtaining 25 Daedra Hearts? A few Spidal sticks? Getting slapped by Harrada? All the Runeskulls I have found thus far have been in Oblivion Worldspace. And my new game is MMM'd so, I'd be happy to get out in 20 minutes. What would help my Midas Spell creation is heaps of gold nuggets.

It certainly has for me! Oblivion gates are a 5-10 minute affair now instead of the 20+ minute trudge they were. IMHO it helps preserve the spirit of the content without the extra time spent.

Really helps speed up the creation of spells from Midas Magic of Aurum too.

Ah, Oblivion Worldspace. I have mixed feelings regarding the whole process of entering Oblivion, fighting my way up the tower (again and again cursing the two-dimensional limitation of Oblivion gameplay vs. the 3-dimension of Morrowind, specifically the use of Levitate. One simple low-level Levitate spell would get me up to the Sigillum Sanguis door from the tower entrance, but I digress...) Mixed, as in when I completed the main quest, I found myself missing the occasional foray into Oblivion.

Now that I started a new game with a different style of play, I can foresee myself getting sick of the gate-closing grind. This looks like it might help out when it starts to get stale.
