so i remember downloading this aggggges ago and finding a mod that changes him to have a staff of eden on him and for the life of me cant find it any help?
It's been a long time since I tried out this mod and decided to ogive it a whirl once more. So here's my review on Fergus:
Pros: Comprehensive voiced companion. I'm always looking for voiced companions since I loathe having a silent NPC following me; Companion is well based fighter; Funny moments with Vilja and Fergus if you leave them idle for awhile; Vilja and Fergus constantly chatter even when we are supposed to be sneaking LMAO!
Cons: Only con I have is if I accidentally hit Fergus, because he's being an idiot chasing a target, I get the popup about being expelled from the Thieves Guild. Seeing as I am now the Gray Fox, this gets annoying when I have to reload each time to avoid this.
Fergus starts fights with EVERYONE!! He started a fight with my fellow Lost Spires guildmates. He started a fight my Elsweyr guildmates.
Final Thoughts: Great companion but I leave him at home for most of the game. With him attacking my fellow guildmates, difficult to keep him with me all the time. I tried telling him to 'only attack those who attack us' but that doesn't work either. My guildmates automatically attack him.
Final score: 7/10
And spoiler for those who can't find him: Make a save at Ra'sava Camp. Exit and enable the mod. Upon loading, he will be right there.
My apologizes, but I really can't make Fergus use arrows. He seems to be so badly affected by that known bug where he has bow and arrows equipped, but he doesn't take an arrow when shooting, just releases his bow string without any ammo.
If the mod author still reads this, the Toren file that dustin flan had on the blog has gone, the blog has been shut down for a year now and I've sent emails asking for it on here and on their tumblr and never got a response. Does anyone have a copy they'd be willing to share?

For those looking for the Toren files, in the readme is a link to dustinflan's site. Near he top of that page is another link to a Fergus as Toren All in One package. You'll need that one instead, otherwise you'll end up without sound and missing textures. FYI. Running into a pale, bald, mute person with soulless black eyes dressed in rags at 4am is not creepy at all.
I also ran into that issue and it just seems like the files can't be found anymore since that site is gone. Of course, there's always the possibility of someone still having the files installed from years ago. I'm not sure how you'd find someone like that but I guess asking on Reddit in r/oblivion and r/oblivionmods might be a good start
Some of them are linked to his website which is gone, so its a no go for the Fergus files. Frankly, I'm not even sure what that is supposed to be anyway. Is it some kind of physical overhaul for Fergus? If so, I like Fergus as he is.
I already have Vilja as a companion, and as wonderful as she is, I felt a need to have a second companion on my journeys in Cyrodiil, and I'm so happy I came across Fergus. He's so charming!
