Important Note: This mod is not lore-friendly. Shooting laser is a modern and futuristic concept.
This mod is not for medieval lore-oriented people.
But if you want to try something "outside the box", read on.

1. DESCRIPTION
===============

This mod adds a laser gun. Oblivion is a sci-fi shooting game now. ;-)

This mod is primarily based on "Soul gun" mod.
The blaster looks like a rifle, but actually it's a staff. I simply turned it into a laser gun.
No more fireballs, it will shoot lasers now and has a few subtle additional features.
I adjusted the speed of the projectile so you can "see" the laser coming out from the rifle.
It can shoot approx. 3 times per second with a blaster sound effect.
I also added some clone army (aka battle droids) so you can practice shooting.
Note that the laser blaster that you have and the one that Droids carry are different in power;
Player's does 78 damage whereas Droid's 20 damage. (approx. 4 times more powerful)
So if you think player's rifle is too powerful, you can kill the Droids and take their weapon. ;-)
It's a good idea to give the blasters to your companions and see what they can do with it!
No quest, just simple, simply fun.

What to do in game
=====================

=== Essential ==

Go to the southeastern end of IC Waterfront District. (Please refer to the screenshot for exact location)
You will find some tombstones. And there is a magic portal in front of them that takes you to the Droid world.
In the Droid world, there is a Laser gun for you in the display case. Enjoy.

=== Optional ===

Roam around and you will soon discover the presence of Droids! There are total 46 of them! Wipe them all out!

However, there are two things I want to tell you before the fire exchange.

First, because there are so many of them, a massive slowdown of the frame rate may occur, especially if you have a slow system.
However, if you have a high end system or average, it should work perfectly fine.
So let me warn you again: if your average frame rate during gameplay is below 10, I recommend "not even try." Your computer might explode! ;)

Secondly, the Droids are not to be underestimated. When attacked, your HP will drop like crazy!! It's highly probable you die in 5 seconds!
So I prepared some protection for you in case you are desperate.
There are 2 potions that look like a beer bottle next to the blaster. It's called "For your protection."
Drink them and you will get protected. Any resist magic spell or potion will counter the laser damage.

Good luck. ;)

7. CONFLICTS / KNOWN ERRORS
============================

Conflicts with other mod: Unknown yet. If there is, please let me know. ***This mod has a conflict with Supreme Magicka mod. Laser disappears! (Thanks gumin for pointing that out!) Trying to find to get around it now and plan to upload an updated version. (Feb 16)

Bugs: 1. When Droids follow you to the Cyrodiil, Droid's blaster tends to lose the laser firing sound.
The blaster sound of yours is not affected.
