After playing Oblivion for a while I start needing to refresh my game with a few cosmetic changes from time to time. Though I don't like to change the overall look of my game *too* much (the exception being individual homes, like Blary's magnificent Swida House), I like to give different elements a face lift from time to time. When I found Gothic Upperclass Clutter Replacer I was immediately impressed (well, it was done by stroti...how could I not be impressed?), it was an immediate download, as I knew it would look great in my game and give me no trouble (again, stroti's mod).
If you need something fresh in your game, and want a mod that will work as intended and really add something special, give this a try. It looks excellent in-game, especially the Stroti has done so many outstanding resources for Oblivion (as well as some for Skyrim), and it was those resources that inspired me to learn how to add things to my game myself, as well as do a bit of modding for personal use, as they are all too good not to use.
Many thanks, stroti, for yet another valuable addition to my game. Your time and effort are so appreciated, as is the quality and variety of all your work.
You mean icons? If so, please, make sure you go to menu -> options -> video -> textures, and set the texture size to large. It should fix this and a few other problems you may encounter.
Had the same issue all of a sudden. Not sure how it happened but I checked and my tex settings were at medium instead of large. Thanks for the fix, Mac!
Love your meshes and textures (as always!) but I'm having trouble with the menu icons. Are they clashing with my Dark UI? I have little scrambles of square color instead of icons! This only seems to affect silverware icons. Upon further investigation my ceramic textures are also color-scrambled. When I uninstalled the mod in Wrye Bash everything was fine. I have no other mods that change clutter, though MMM does change some of their properties. But this mod Must be clashing with another mod.
Oddly, this started happening to me too. Reinstalled it once with Wrye and then again with OBMM instead, still same issue. Turns out Maczopikczo's solution was correct. Somehow my texture settings were at Medium in Video Options. No clue how that happened. Can verify that setting it back to Large fixes these issues.
