First of all this is for making a BAIN archive.
If you don't use BAIN, then sorry, this is not for you.
The txt I created states what every esp-esm that comes out of the exe does.

And this is for ENGLISH ONLY.
I do not speak those other languages and may never get around to providing support for them in the wizard script.

The batch file handles the renaming and moving of the files for an English install from the extracted resources.

The equivalent to the esp packer(or the batch file you refer to) is your ability to read the txt file I provided and figure out which ones you want and MANUALLY haha move them by hand, just as I did. There is no fancy way to do it all in one step. The batch file automates the process(thus making it easy).

The BSAs probably only need renamed if you are planning on installing as FCOM or whatever. BAIN will have the ability to rename BSAs eventually, just not presently as of the time I write this.

Read the help file in BASH if you are having trouble learning to use BAIN.

The left over files are for the other languages and the exe installer stuff that isn't needed.

There seems to be an awful lot left behind in my {app) folder - assorted esp and esm files.

9 from the level-up mini mod
72 from the Leveled creatures-items mod
6 from the Optional Chance of Stronger Bosses mod
6 from the optional chance of stronger Enemies mod
6 from the Dungeon Chest mod
6 from the Dungeon Locks mod
93 from the optional files list
    3 optional house chest loot
    3 levelled arena
    6 levelled guards
    6 levelled quests
    3 new adventurers
    48 new creatures
    24 new items
    3 vendor tweaks
    9 slower skills
    3 living economy

... plus the expected SI french, german and Italian esp files.

From your desription I only expected a small number of files - well over 200 is a little large for comfort without you having stated how many files to expect to see left behind.

Also, your explanation of what to do to archive the bsa files leaves out many important steps for someone who doesn't use BAIN already - how do you know what to rename the file you say need to be renamed, for instance? Maybe for those of us who don't already know the package as well as you do, it might be handy to tell us IN DETAIL what to do, or provide an equivalent to the ESP packer ... or even add the bsa's to the ESP packer as an option.

Well, I'll be dumbfounded, you're right.

This only happens when in an archive(compressed) though.

It doesn't occur when it's in a Project folder.

    Yep, report to WB thread.

Found some time to install latest one - works wonders. FCOM installs as it should AFAIK
I understand about folders - what I am telling you is : double click in the wizard on a screenshot. It will open the screenshot in your image viewer. Notice the folder you are in. It will be smth like Mopy\InstallerTemp\etc. When browsing this folder (NOT the BAIN installers dir) there will be only 2-3 images there NOT all of them - which would be nice. Probably a Bash limitation/bug - if I am not blatantly wrong probably better to reply in WB thread
I am being anal I know

    There are two/three images folders.
One is named "-- Images" and doesn't show up in the installers tab. Intentional
The other two folders I relocated to be put in the docs folder.
"Creatures" & "Items". The opening screen Screenshots Option.
The "-- Images" folder only contains wizard specific images such as yes. no. etc.

Hey - hi - oops - I meant while running the wizard there is the option of clicking on the screenshot - it will open in the image browser - irfanview in my case - well the folder I am in is Mopy\InstallerTemp\00 Frans Documentation\Screenshots\Francesco's\(Items || Creatures) and only 2,3 screenshots are there - I'd expect all of them to get transferred there but not the case - weird.

edit: just saw 1.3 - I'll report back ASAP

When you install the archive in BAIN, the wizard automatically selects the 00 Frans documentation Subpackage. Now if you got Skip screenshots checked in the installers tab, it still won't show them in the skipped tab of the info. after install...(hmmm.) But the screenshots should be installed in the screenshots/francesco's/creatures or items folder in your data folder, if Skip screenshots is not checked. The -- images wont show up at all in the subpackage section(intentional) of BAIN.
    Hope this helps.

Edit: It seem bash takes what is in the screenshots folder and sticks it in the docs folder.

I guess I should change the batch file to stick the screenshots folder inside the Docs/overhauls/francesco's folder. And edit the wizard to reflect those changes also. Will do so when 1.3 gets uploaded.

Thanks indeed for the FCOM feature
I have 2 observations : not all screenshots are transferred to the Mo
    py\InstallerTemp\00 Frans Documentation\Screenshots\Francesco's\(Items || Creatures) - only 3,2 of them. Maybe a bash bug ?
And I thing \ must be escaped - they don't show in your last Installations notes and on Frans 45b changelog sections (maybe other places too).
The first one is important - I did not really knew this feature of BAIN (opening the screenshots in editor - I use Irfanview) so not sure if <insert here>. If a bug though worth reporting in the Bash thread.
Hope I am not being silly.
    And Thanks again
