Greetings traveler, welcome to the new Cadlew Chapel!
I decided to reconsecrate The Cadlew Chapel for my Healer. At first I've searched on Nexus to see if it's already done, I kind of don't want to reinvent the wheel, you know. I found 3 mods regarding this chapel. One is making it even more necromancy friendly and the other two strip it of everything that would make a chapel holy, even the altar is removed. So, finding nothing to suit my vision, I made it myself.
This mod is using only the resources found in the vanilla game.
The interior of the chapel is changed, but also some minor exterior aspects.
The chapel is not meant to be a home for the player, but a holy place for praying and pilgrimage, for healing and resting in case you might need to.
The Chapel of Akatosh in Kvatch has been destroyed by the daedra, The Temple of The One is also damaged, so Father Akatosh has no undamaged Sacred place dedicated to Him. In the Light of these facts the chapel is dedicated to Akatosh.
Inside the chapel you will find two particular items: one is The Sandglass of Akatosh, an hourglass scripted to give the player some boost in luck - all you have to do is to carry it in your inventory, and the other one is a scroll that contains the prayer of Emperor Uriel Septim VII (you know the guy from the beginning of the game that gave you the Amulet of kings...). This prayer is part of the Pocket Guide to the Empire, 3rd Edition, included with the Special Edition of the game. There is also a Charity Box where you can find some money (they respawn) that you can use as a very faithfull citizen to bet in The Arena, hahaha!
This mod it's not much but was made with a lot of Faith and goodness in heart. I invite you to make a pilgrimage to the new Cadlew Chapel and see for your self the new place.
I encourage you to post your pictures with your character praying in the chapel. If you do post, have patience because I will have to approve them first.
